Bears By 6, Maybe 7

The offensive line has to make sure Cutler's noggin doesn't take another beating against the second worst pass defense in the NFL. That's not too big an order, is it?

UPDATE: Evidently, it was too big an order. Cutler's been sacked 15 times now in two games?

Q: How many poly-carbonates and Styrofoam would have to give up their lives to make JFled a football helmet?
A: Twice as many as they killed for the Bears Superbowl helmet on the Daley Center Picasso.

With all due respect, SCC....the Bears blow. They're lucky the Lions got fucked on that TD call in the first game.

Every year, you root for the Bears. If they get rid of Dummy (I mean Lovie) and get a real coach like Cowher or Gruden...maybe then they'll be respectable.

They could have had Shanahan!!

Devin Hester is awesome.

The rest of the Bears SUCK, especially the offensive line.

Jay Cutler is probably kicking himself for going to the Bears.

Bears lose, Packers lose.

Bears still in 1st by themselves.

BUT...

So what?

They can't magically get a better offensive line...

They can't magically get a 3rd down offense...

They can't magically undo Cutlers brain concussion...

In their 2 loses, they were pretty soundly outplayed. Same thing with 2 of their wins (against Detroit and Green Bay). With 4 turnovers last week, they should have lost that game, as well. Good thing for them they were playing one of the worst teams in the NFL.

As I see it, they could or should be more like 2-4 or even 1-5. Even if they manage to stumble into a playoff spot, this Bears team IS NOT Super Bowl material.

So now I plan on going to see the Chicago Bliss of the Lingerie Football League against the San Diego Seduction at the Sears Centre Arena on November 13th. These chicks really play with a lot of heart (unlike the Bears!).

In the meantime I am immediately switching over to FULL NHL Blackhawks hockey mode...

Bye bye, Bears.

Don't feel bad, about Cutler's performance today. Kyle Orton fumbled away the Broncos' chances in the final seconds of their game today.

Would that make da Bears the best 5 quarter team in the NFL?

(5 quarters would be change for a dollar at City Hall.)

I'm sorry but I'm assuming these offensive lineman played their positions prior to joining the NFL?!

Have they ever seen stunts before??

The offensive line and coaching suck. The Bears knew last year that the offensive line was a problem but did nothing. Plus Cutler for all his physical ability is not that smart. He holds the ball much too long, and is indecisive. Perfect example was yesterday when he couldn't get the play calling together which caused them to burn time outs. Looks like Denver coach Josh McDaniels, and the Broncos knew something that Lovie, Angelo and Ted Phillips didn't. They are extremely lucky to be 4 -2. Though I know they won't, I hope they loose the rest of their games so that we finally get rid of Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo circus.

-----------------------------------

I guess I'm just one of those "glass is half full" kind of guys.

I actually think Orton would be functioning with the offensive line problems better than Cutler.

All that guy ever did was win, and those Bears teams he played on were nothing special, either.
