Hey Obama Fan

Yeah you. We've been deleting your nonsense pretty steadily for a few weeks now. Your slobbering on the president is kind of embarrassing. Your bashing of the previous administration is entertaining in the way only flaming leftists can make it - all based on lies, bullshit and wishes:
  • "Illegal wars," that were authorized not only by the United States Congress, but by the United Nations you seem so eager to submit to;
  • "Wars for oil" while we pay $3 and more for a gallon of gas - where's the cheap oil you think we stole?
  • Whining about Warren Buffet only paying 17% of his income while Buffet's secretary pays 35% - never mentioning that Buffet's 17% is probably something like 10,000 times the amount of his secretary's. Maybe she needs a new tax preparer - we paid way less than 35% with itemized deductions;
  • All your BS about Limbaugh, Beck, Tea Parties - we've never listened to either of those people and never written a word of support about the Tea Party;
  • Accusing McCain of being a coward - how many years did you spend in Vietnamese prison camps? We didn't like McCain as a candidate (but he was better than the alternative) and figured him for a flip-flopper. He might be a lot of things, but "coward" isn't really one of them;
  • Your baseless accusations of racism, class warfare, yadda yadda yadda - you're boring us here;
But your constant refrain of how President Sparklefarts "saved" this country? We present this:

Go grab your calculator - that's back-to-back years of trillion dollar deficits. And the funny thing is, those two years surpass Bush's eight-year totals. Obama is about to lose over 60 seats in the House alone. He might lose upwards of 80, and control of the Senate hangs in the balance.

Anyway, how about taking a trip over to the D.U. or Kos where they might appreciate your confidence in spite of reality. There is about to be a lot of gnashing of teeth and such on the left very shortly. You aren't getting published here.

To our regular readers - sorry you had to read this.

UPDATE: We just knew we were going to suck in a few of these trolls - they're so predictable. And so naive. They claim that the Bush deficits don't include the cost of two wars. Here you go:

You lose. Again.

The right minded are going to retake our country back after being spent into oblivion by Obama, Reid and Pelosi. Quinn is history and we can only hope that Alexi G falters.

We needed Carter to get Reagan, hopefully a good Republican will be able to step up to the plate in '12.

"Go grab your calculator." -- SCC

Hell, just tell him to walk around the city with his eyes open and look at all the boarded-up, foreclosed houses and apartment buildings and all of the forlorn, empty "FOR LEASE" small businesses.

More and more every time I go out the door -- Irving and Austin was looking really bad when I was over there a couple of days ago, and it's all over the place.

We are in a depression. The Prez eats "shave ice," and God only knows what keeps Michelle going from day to day -- she's sounded like she was going to walk out almost before she got to the White House. I've been expecting a full-blown Kitty Dukakis any minute.

I would propose that SCC not rise to the bait on people like this.

Hysterical ideologues- left, right or otherwise- are a cancer in this country, these days. They regurgitate the same hive-minded talking points and operate with an intellectually diseased 'tribal' mentality that is not too dissimilar to the one that drives the existence of street gangs, etc. Their political "side"- their "gang"- becomes the prevailing purpose in their lives and in furtherance of it, they're perfectly willing to suspend all logic, reason and critical thought. They trade in the effort required to be a thinking man in exchange for the easy sense of belonging that comes with ideological sycophancy.

Such people are irrational to say the least but it isn’t completely their fault. The leftist media is working overtime to rain pure lies upon the people and confuse us. Never before has it so obvious then today. Previously creditable media outlets have become factories of propaganda and lies. In such an environment it is easy for good people to become misguided.

I look upon such people with pity.

I don't care for John McCain as a politician at all. He's a useless RINO. But I can tell you this, he spent years in a Vietnamese pow camp, was beaten and he manned up to the abuse in a heroic fashion. They were going to let him go home and because his buddies couldn't leave also, he stayed! That man has some stones.

Mr. Obama has led a charmed life. He earned very little of his success. He resents the capitalist system, you know, the one that provides us with unequaled prosperity AND individual liberty. He's one of the group rights people. You know, the Marxist type. I could go on and on, but why bother, I'd bore the other posters to tears, repeating what they already figured out some time ago.

A good number of the people who voted for him were voting to change Washington, DC. Not the US. That's why his approval ratings are headed down and he's going to lose control of congress.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. When confronted with facts, they get frustrated and buckle.

We're supposed to understand that they are better because they have good intentions.

If thrown into a den of hungry lions, they would try to reason with the lions and explain that we should all live together in harmony and eat grass and seeds. The end result would be the same, though. Reality is kind of like that.

I wouldn't mind paying lower taxes, by having the payroll tax paid by entities other than myself:

The payroll tax* -- a.k.a. the Social Security tax, the Social Security and Medicare tax, or the Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA) tax -- skims around fifteen per cent from the payroll of every business and the paycheck of every worker, from minimum-wage burger-flippers on up, with no deductions. No exemptions, either -- except that everything above a hundred grand or so a year is untouched, which means that as salaries climb into the stratosphere the tax, as a percentage, shrinks to a speck far below. This is one reason that Warren Buffett's secretary (as her boss has unproudly noted) pays Uncle Sam a higher share of her income than he does.

There are other places these taxes could be collected, rather than from the individual employee (and the company contribution in the case of Social Security). That would put real money in people's pockets, both in terms of not having the taxes deducted from their paychecks, and the possibility of raises due to companies not having to pay the other half of the SS tax.

*I know Rostenkowski screwed you guys out of SS, just providing a bit of factual background. BTW, I am not an Obama fan.

If it does not are currency will be destroyed and that will sink the economy. Everybody, left or right, Democrat or Republican, all Americans will have their standard of living get so bad that it is gonna make the Great Depression look like a minor problem.

You are pretty much on target SCC. I would only add that a large part of deficits during Bush's term was the necessity of restoring the Defense Department that the previous administration, Clinton, had largely decimated. I do think Bush made a bit of a mistake in trying to fight a war while at the same time significantly reducing taxes. That however pales in comparison to what the current fool is doing.

Your facts are wrong.

There is no doubt that Obama has done great damage with his deficit spending and he is the big reason why we are in the hole we are in.

However, Bush never included the spending on the two wars in his "deficit" calculation. It was an accounting trick that kept the wars as "appropriations" and not "congressional spending"

Obama put the war spending back on the books. Even with that said,TARP spending dwarfed war spending. And who was the first person who authorized Tarp before leaving office? Bush.

Don't fool yourself. They were both at fault.

President Sparklefarts, that IS perfect.

The liberal/democrat/leftists cannot accept the fact that, by and large, Americans aren't buying what they are selling.

Sparklefarts depicted middle America as clinging to guns and religion. Man if that's not the pot calling the kettle black. He and his brain dead followers cling to lies and manipulation in order to cling to the hope that there leftist/marixist philosophies will be accepted by the American people. I pray Nov 2nd clearly shows we are not fucking buying it and a stake is put in the heart of the leftist democrats attempt to control everything.

George Bush?? I voted for the guy twice because he was the best alternative. I understand that the president is hust one guy but I'm really, really dissapointed in what a RINO GWB proved out to be in light of his spending, bailing out the scumbag banks and seemingly doing a halfhearted CYA on Fannie Mae rather then going nuclear from the bully pulpit on the dems obstruction of oversight and reform of FM.

That being said Bush is gone. Sparklefarts owns this thing callled 6 Trillion dollars in post Bush deficit spending that has not done shit but make things worse. Every day that goes by shows he is not up to the job.

I hope I'm wrong but I feel that it might get really ugly when the liberals start getting all we weed up at having there turn at the levers of government taken away. I sense that when they start causing trouble in the streets, it's going to be right minded citizens that kick there fucking asses and not the law and order professionals. The majority of Americans gave Sparklefarts his chance, a chance to do great things but he fucked it up making a hard left turn ( didn't vote for 'em. I voted for the American). Now America is speaking. It's not gonna take this shit any more sitting down.

I remember working for $5.00/hour, many years ago. When I worked Saturdays and Sundays too, seven days a week, the overtime bumped me into a higher tax bracket that was fiendishly placed about an inch above my head -- obviously engineered as a barrier to keep me in my place. My $7.50/hour "time-and-a-half" that sounded so good was actually $2.50/hour.

Work like an animal for half the money. Talk about a negative incentive.

I remember hearing that the income tax extracted from people who make under $20,000/year is only 2% of the total take. It would seem that this could be made up from another source -- simply cutting waste, fraud, foreign aid to places like North Korea, and useless projects would more than take care of it.

Anyone who actually wanted to "end poverty" -- instead of run it as a lucrative ongoing racket -- could make a good start by eliminating these punitive taxes on the desperate working poor.

What do I think of Obama? Why, I scarcely think of him at all. He is a non-presence for me -- a vacuum in a limousine, tearing through town with men pointing rifles every which way, taking the whole thing very seriously.

I still remember his voice reciting, "I am an empty vessel into which your pour your hopes and dreams and aspirations."

Not much of a platform, huh?

My grandfather arrived here from Italy right in the middle of a dogshit depression. It was bad. He suffered, greatly, during that time. Did his thing as a combat veteran in WW2 and came out the other side alive, having socked back enough money from running a servicemans poker game for to open his business, right when America hit our biggest upswing.

He earned a very good living. Not rich, but wealthy. Never showed it. Drove cars until they wore completely out, then fixed them some more. Lived in a modest home and continued to live there even after the shitbirds infested the neighborhood and everyone else had fled.

He had this weird habit of hording food- to the point that he actually had a rather large storage shed built in his backyard that we called the 'pantry'. Before Sunday spaghetti with the family, you could usually find grandpa out back in 'the pantry', rotating food, updating labels, etc. Nothing ever spoiled- he was a master of food storage logistics- but we did occasionally have some odd side-dishes with Sunday dinner.

People thought he was a kook for doing this and admittedly, some of our family members did too. Why in gods name do this when you can just go to the store and buy whatever you want? He did this with other stuff, too. Tools, guns, etc, etc.

Anyway, as we now layer trillions of dollars worth of debt onto our once great nation- much like a corporate raider undertaking a leveraged buyout of a company he couldn't care less about- now, I understand why he did that.

Thanks, papa.
