Is everything good? Conversation overheard on Thursday at office: FOP Staff wants you out/finished/shutdown.
Question SCC. How can a GEU school Sgt KB and his light duty PO TA have take home cars? Where can I apply for this assignment? Funny thing is that they almost live across the street from each other.

so ive noticed that the police suing lawfirms are starting to branch away from the city and are suing the suburbs more and more lately... suing the burbs more than the city now. Loevy and Loevy is at it again filing lawsuits against police departments in the past month in zion, deerfield, aurora and joliet along with other smaller burbs. Also, Larry Jakowiack who always sues the city is reaching out to the burbs also with suits against bolingbrook, naperville, aurora, joliet, will county sheriff and as far away as rockford to the north and some small town Ive never heard of that is about 90 miles southwest of chicago. Other lawfirms who commonly sue the city are also dipping into the burbs. One lawfirm that was exclusivly going after chicago is now hammering the southern burbs of lansing, dixmoor and especially harvey with about a half dozen suits and a bunch have been filed by all of them against cook county jail and sheriff police and a few popping up against the state police. Watch out suburbs, the nonsense lawsuits and big city slick boys are headed your way.

Kirby wouldn't know a felon if he bit her in the ass. No street cred whatsoever. Williams is not respected and is a devisive factor.
While Al Wysinger is a well regarded street cop, he and Kerlikowske appear out of it. Seattle PD says Kerlikowske is a stroke.

WTF! reverse seniority 90 day detail ! the FOP and the PBPA should file suit . the city I'n essence is stating they are beyond staffing requirements if they are allowed to detail SGTs to districts. Make another class already!! these Sgts are sent by reverse seniority and then whatever seniority the have amongst detail sgts . they ate out on whatever watch the district Commander deems fit! so seniority does not even factor I'n I'n watch assignment! i would not want one of these sgts. Supervising me! they are probley pissed! only had 1 day notice! And they said Weiss lowered morale!
All the media outlets have McCarthy as Rahm's man to "lead" us.
I guess it will be ok to MF on duty police, use your position to intimidate other police, use your position to fix a ticket.

The sgts received 5 hours notice of the detail. If they worked the second watch they had to work the 1st watch that night with 6 hours to go home shower and back to work. Great way to treat the front line supervisors. Seems no one cares about the street officers and sgts.
Is there a plot to disable the #1 blog SCC? Hope you get it back to the way it was God Bless you SCC guru!

The only one bitching about going back to the street for a mere 90 days is Sgt. TM, Bret Goldstein's right hand. What is wrong with us insiders going out for a bit to help out our Sergeants and troops that have been doing this chit all year. Give me a break. We were all hired to be street sergeants!
