NATO Canceled
A Bridgeport man refused to leave City Hall after regular business hours, telling officers it was his "moral obligation" to stop next month's NATO summit, police said.
Jospeh Cohen, 60, was approached by police around 6:30 p.m. Monday and told several times to leave, police said.
Cohen refused, telling the officers “it is my moral obligation not to leave and to stop NATO from coming to Chicago,’’ according to a police report.Cohen, of the 3300 block of South Halsted Street, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing, police said.
Police said they searched City Hall with dogs Tuesday evening because someone thought they saw Cohen again. But he was not found.
Recall the bombers. Stand down the missiles. Everything is going to be just fine. Thank you Mr. Cohen!

There are so many reasons to despise EP. They added another recently with the destruction of the former golf course at 91st and Western for yet another stupid strip mall that will probably be vacant in 5 years. How many more reasons for loathing will they give us in the next 5 years?

I drive legally in both the city and suburbs and have no problems, I work in 008 and have stopped off duties driving like assholes, most are apologetic and professional but some are dickheads. My guess is that if your best case is to come on a blog and bitch rather than stand in a court room and prove you're innocent you're in the wrong. As far as the evergreen Po you as well as I stop a lot of cars in a night and probably give most a pass, show a little compassion.

I have been stopped 8 times in 30 years outside of Chicago. (Never drunk) I have always been given a pass. Suburbs, San Diego, one time in Wisconsin, Texas Panhandle, I follow the "Don;t be an asshole rule, hands in view, admit error, I don;t know if it means anything to you, but I am a patrolman in Chicago,and I understand if you are unable to give me a professional courtesy", compliment their professionalism, don't be an asshole, don't expect to jam someone up if you fuck up and hurt someone.
Somebody stole my 80 20 s and crown out of the company locker. Burglary report and custom uniform will be ready 23. May: replacement shield? 27Aug 2013.
