Cop + CPR = Good News
- The life of a grandmother, who became unconscious while en route to the hospital, was saved Sunday morning thanks to the quick actions of a Chicago Police sergeant.
The Sun Times has instituted a new "comments" policy which, like the Tribune, restricts what you can see without registering. Expect a lot fewer links to the newspapers in coming days.

screw the registering and the pay walls. there's too many other sources to get news from today. many of them are even more trustworthy.
You can get around the sun-times paywall / registering by doing the following. When the page you click on is loading, once the words of the article are up, immediately hit the "X" button which will stop the page from continuing to load the ads / video, etc. This prevents that article from being counted as one of the few you get to read for free in a month.
To get around the Tribune Paywall, when you click on the page and the registering for digital plus pop up appears, copy the web address and go to google where you then should paste it into a google search. This gets you around their paywall.
Local lamestream media is clearly desperate for revenue. They are in their death rattle.
Who buys a newspaper anymore? Add to that, the content is "politically correct", state sponsored propaganda meant to sway the opinions of the thousands of weak-minded, naive or delusional sheeple amongst us.
They have lost all credibility on the political issues of this city, county, state and nation. They are just another wing of a dysfunctional and corrupt government.
(Ot) anyone hear anything from the union, on the retires health care, contract, pension funding? Bueller? Did you know union reps city wide get up to 10 tickets to the Christmas parties that he union (read our dues), buy for hem to give out? Another waste of dues money? How many units/districts X what maybe average $50.00 per ticket flushed!
The regime of the runt doesn't like truthful criticism of his/their policies, nor does he want the "entitled eskimos" who are machine voters, to be portrayed in a manner which shows that they are mostly rabid critters of the worst kind.
The "machine" owns the media in chicago, and a stalin pretender dictates what it can report on.
Sgt from 007.. Good guy and boss
Sgt. Mark O'Connor -- One of the best!
Sgt. O'Connor is a class act all the way. When I congratulated him, his response was "no one should lose their grandma over the holidays...it was nothing". So wrong, Mark. It WAS something. I'm honored to work with a guy like you.
You are correct SCC. I registered for the Sun-Times website with my web address and a password and I'm still locked-out. I sent and e-mail to them asking why and have not received a reply yet. Yes both the Tribune and the Sun-Times are full of fecal matter. Don't give them no props 'cause they don't respond in kind.
wow,THANKS FOR KEEPIN another welfare momma breethin sgt!GLAD YOUR GOIN 2 1ST WATCH GOOF!
I stopped buying the newspapers nearly 8 years ago and never will pay a cent again for their bias BS and lying. The news media is only contributing to the downfall of America. They distort the truth and promote the growth of the entitlement crowd.
Good Job Sarge...
Has everyone out there seen the training video HANDS ONLY C.P.R.?
Well worth seeing and keeping in mind but it forgot a small but important detail.
ALWAYS CHECK THE AIRWAY FOR OBSTRUCTION AND COCK THE HEAD BACK BEFORE STARTING.
Also, why are there no (at least not in any I have seen) AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFRIBULATORS in district stations.
"The life of a grandmother, who became unconscious while en route to the hospital, was saved Sunday morning thanks to the quick actions of a Chicago Police sergeant."
Good going, Sarge.
Hopefully a family will enjoy another Christmas together because of you.
I work for Sgt. O'Conner and am not surprised one bit by his heroic actions. One of the best bosses in 007 and we are extremely lucky to have him. Great job sarge!
Good job Sarge.
It seems like the CPD is everywhere lately, saving lives and being valiant heroes.
Nicely done.

Used to buy a newspaper for a nickel and unfold it, there it was. You could write a letter to the editor if you wanted.
Some online comment sections are like 14,000 comments, half illiterates and half robot spam from Cambodia or something. You going to go through this swamp, loading ten messages at a time? Not missing anything.
Not going on F__ebook so every time I sneeze a whole hive of people get a full report. "Social media" is bullshit. Who cares.
That "goof" picked first watch... Not dumped. I guess he just doesn't want to work with useless dog ass mo fos as yourself. Go home, hate your life, and tell everybody how your useless ass should be doing better. You might have been the police at one time.. However, that statement proves u retired. We still took an oath dick. Good job sarge
Good Job Mark, You were a class act in Mobile Strike Force and you will always be a class act. Stay safe out there in 7th district.
