Christmas Eve In America, 2012 -- the lovely photo says it all.

Man set trap and then shot and killed firefighters responding to Webster, N.Y. fire -=- six other homes burn to ground

By Ron Recinto | The Lookout – 9 hrs ago

"A man with a criminal history shot and killed two West Webster, N.Y. firefighters and seriously injured two others as they responded to a fire at his home, police say.

"William H. Spengler, Jr., 62, apparently started a 5:35 a.m. fire at his home on Lake Road and then waited with an armament of weapons for first responders to arrive, Webster N.Y. Police Chief Gerald Pickering said at an afternoon news conference.

"β€œHe was shooting from high ground or a berm," Pickering said. "He was barricaded with weapons to shoot first responders."

"After a brief exchange of gunfire with police, Spengler then shot and killed himself at the scene..."

God bless us, everyone. To SCC and the men and women of the Chicago Police Dept....thank you and bless you for the work that you do. These are dangerous, dark times and our future is dubious under a socialist president. Officers, be safe and do not be swayed by socialism...it killed many a person in Russia, North Korea, Cuba, and it is now in our White House. Fight the good fight, and know that We the People are behind you.

A Merry Christmas, and prayers for the upcoming New Year, and what it will bring.

Officer Down
Prayers for Sister Jennifer Sabena, Wauwatosa (Wis.) PD ambushed on Christmas Eve

Wauwatosa - When Jennifer Lynn Sebena didn't respond to her radio early Christmas Eve, dispatchers sent fellow officers to search for the rookie police officer.
Police later made a grisly discovery - Sebena's body, shot numerous times. Her colleagues at the Wauwatosa Police Department launched a homicide investigation to find out who killed Sebena and why.
As of Monday night, Wauwatosa police said no suspects had been arrested in her death. The state Division of Criminal Investigation is handling the case.
Jennifer Sebena, 30, attended the Milwaukee Area Technical College police academy and joined the force in January 2011. She began as a solo patrol officer with Wauwatosa police in July 2012 and completed probation with the department just last month.
The stunning chain of events began in the early morning hours when Wauwatosa dispatchers attempted to contact Sebena on her late-shift patrol.
"A call had been put out by her dispatchers to send her to a call for service and she didn't respond," Lt. Gerald Witkowski said. "One of our other officers had talked to her earlier in the evening or seen that vehicle and discovered her."
Witkowski said officers were out looking for Sebena because she "had not responded to her radio." Police declined to say where the shooting occurred, but police tape was stretched across an area at the main fire station on Underwood Ave.
Authorities said she was shot to death between 3 and 5 a.m. She was believed to be wearing her safety vest. The circumstances of her death were murky.
Late-shift Wauwatosa officers frequently use the fire station as a stop for the restrooms or for the office; for instance, as a place to file a report.
Sebena was noted for her personality and clear dedication to service., according to Karnick. She was injured during recruit training school, which delayed her start as a probationary officer.
Officer Sebena and her husband, Benjamin G. Sebena, lived in Menomonee Falls. Their home was cordoned off by police much of Monday.
A neighbor said the Sebenas were a quiet couple who moved in to the neighborhood about four years ago. They didn't have children but had a small bulldog.
In a video filmed at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Benjamin Sebena talked about meeting his future wife while he was stationed overseas on his second tour of Iraq. His unit, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, had been part of the invasion force at the start of the Iraq War in 2003 and returned to Iraq in the fall of 2004, when Benjamin Sebena was sent to Ramadi. He was seriously injured in a mortar attack that killed a buddy in February 2005.
On Monday as police searched for clues to Jennifer Sebena's slaying, some Wauwatosa churches canceled or changed their Christmas Eve services.
Trinity Episcopal Church, 1717 Church St., canceled the 4 p.m. children's service and Christmas pageant but held a candlelight vigil for the fallen officer later Monday night.
Among the police departments responding to the scene were Brookfield, Butler, West Allis, Greendale, Shorewood, Menomonee Falls, Glendale, Oak Creek and Cudahy, as well as the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department.
"What a tragic day for our community, and our hearts go out to Officer Sebena's family," said Wauwatosa Mayor Kathy Ehley.

Merry Christmas to you and all the CPD blue shirts and three stripers. Be safe and remember to always make it home to your loved ones. Always do the right thing. Avoid the vices. What you do reflects upon your brothers and sisters in uniform.

Forget all the dirt, mud, blood and guts you see at work on a daily basis. If you can't forget, find one of your brothers or sisters who will help you lift the weight off your chest. There is always someone who will listen, empathize and sympathize.

Hold your heads high, for we are the good in society; we stand between the sheep and the predators; we see, confront, and fight the evil to protect the good. A most worthy and noble vocation as there has ever been.

God Bless.

I want to thank the Officer who gave my husband a break after pulling us over for a right turn on red this past weekend.

We were driving a rental and didn't have a bond card, so a ticket would have meant leaving his Massachusetts drivers license behind. I can only imagine what a nightmare it would have been trying to fly back to Boston after Christmas without it.

But the Officer said he didn't want to ruin our holiday and just told us to be more careful. And we have been, much to the chagrin of every other driver who's since been stuck behind us not turning right on red :)

Thank you again, Officer. Have a safe and very Merry Christmas!

From farther down the web log -- don't let this slip by with the holidays, people.

CHICAGO POWER GRAB -- EMANUEL PROPOSES STATEWIDE "GUN OFFENDER" REGISTRY AND "EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION" BY UNDERMANNED CHICAGO POLICE

"The gun offender registry would be similar to the state law that mandates that convicted sex offenders register with local law enforcement authorities."

"...bet on the plan grabbing national attention. Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy played a significant role in developing the registry in New York City when he was a top cop there."

"The plan could enable Chicago Police officers...to be sworn in as special agents of the Illinois State Police β€” giving them statewide authority to go after gun stores and other sources of weapons plaguing inner-city neighborhoods."

This is a communist brainwashing technique. They try to shame people into compliance with Party principles. Problem is, I'm not ashamed of my God given rights. I'm ashamed that Americans voted for communists and turned their backs on God and American values.
