Officer Lewis Reward up to $40,000

  • The reward for information related to the death of a Chicago police officer last year has been increased, Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy announced today.

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is offering $40,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction, as police continue to search for at least one other individual they believe was involved in the fatal shooting of Officer Clifton Lewis on Dec. 29, 2011.

The reward previously had been set at $33,000.
$40-grand ought to shake something loose.

Nice to note that the Ghetto "Code of Silence" is working so well. There are folks out on the street who know exactly who was involved in this officers murder. And they talk about cops keeping quiet...

We hear about this reward here.

It may be 2-3 seconds on CLTV.

But is word spread through the 'hoods where the gangstas live.

Is CeaseFire out there passing out REWARD flyers. Is rap artist Lil' Weasel pleading for information in his latest.

What about all the other shootings of cops, there are rewards there too.

The other day there wa a spot on the news where CeaseFire (they still called it that) was treated to a dinner praising them for their peace keeping efforts. Who paid for the dinner?

What success can they claim if we have 500, we don't have 501?

The shame of it is that we had the scumbag trigger puller in custody. But our wonderful 3 months out of law school states attorney let him walk out of the sation. But the ASA can do no wrong when they arent held accountable for their actions. And the offender will be put behind bars soon for another crime other than the murder of Officer Lewis

i just heard an officer's home in 022 was burglarized two days ago by shitbirds who are from 007. both were adults and have been seen on the north end of 022/evergreen quite frequently fyi. stephen grahm(i think) and perry black(positive) are among the ones that were caught for now. don't believe anymore are involved from this incident but everyone should be aware of the "shift" of the shitbirds and their ballsiness.

Chicago is a dead city . In 20 years we will be Detroit. Living off the government has killed this great city. Obamanomics will distroy the working class and make us scrambling to survive.

Cobra mission was canceled a long time ago. I thought Gmac was going to "obliterate" them just like the MLD's?

They could raise it to $1,000,000 and it wouldn't matter. They know who the killer is, had him in custody, and had to let him walk out the front door of the station. He was smart and kept his mouth shut. His friends, not so smart.

SCC, as a police officer, I think that Chicago beating New York is good, its street justice. Policing has changed and we are under more scrutiny. But IR# shooting IR# requires no justification. Last night, 4 people were shot after 1 a.m. - who cares?

What do we want McCarthy to put more officers on 1st Watch to protect IR# after 1 a.m. and reduce officers on 2nd and 3rd Watch, when the Working Joe is off to work. Armed Robberies, Home Invasions, crimes are up in 016, 022 and 008. What do we want them to re-deploy more officers to the ghetto? A robbery of an innocent victim - I'll say a battery of an innocent victim, is far worse in my book, than one IR# shooting another IR#.

Of the 500 murders, how many of the victims had an IR#. One IR# knocked another IR# of the SSI system?
Its our best approach to changing the system.

So, I understand that the media jumps over the Sup for the 500, but I'm not sure why we are jumping on that bandwagon? Let's look at the increases of crime in the working joe neighborhoods and hope he gets fired for not protecting the home front.

Sadly, the police know who the third offender is. His partners in crime even gave him up. Unfortunately, he was smart enough deny everything and lawyer up.

Does this also include the $10,000 Reward I see posted around that the CPD Foundation has for info about shooting at us? Hope so. I don't see much on the media about this.

it's not rahmbollina's home front.

it's not the obamanation's home front.

it's not the commiecratic party's home front.

plus, if the working joe's neighborhoods are kept safe and protected, 'that would be racist'.

the purpose in 'jumping on that bandwagon' is:

1. that 'bandwagon' appears to be the only possibly effective way to get the public's attention on the reality of their woefully understaffed, and pathetically mismanaged/politicized, police department.

2. given the public's proven short attention span, and meager ability to connect the dots, past the first two, anything that may inspire the public to pull it's collective head out of the sand is worth promoting.

3. when, on the rare occasion, the msm is compelled, by undeniable quantity, to report on events confirming the abysmal quality of the political 'creatures from the black buffoon', it pisses the rascals off.
