Where Are the "Snitch Boxes"
Has anyone even seen one of these things yet? It's been how many months since "The Rahm and Garry Show" touted these things as the next big crime fighting tool? They were going to boost the clearance rate and make inroads into all sorts of crimes that sit unsolved over at the D-unit. Get a line on drug runners, gun dealers and all manner of criminal behavior they said.
This was going to revolutionize policing!
To date we haven't seen a single box in the hood - and we've been looking while working VRI across the west and south sides. No one has tipped us off to a box location in any of the districts, and that's disappointing , because we have a letter ready to go outlining all sorts of nefarious deeds perpetrated on the citizens of Chicago by aldercreatures, gangsters, legislators, even from the 5th floor of City Hall.
We just hope the letter fits in the slot.

Whatever amount of the loan they 'forgive' is taxable. So, when you do your taxes, it has to be shown as income.
I'd be looking at threatening to sue the bank or whoever failed to deduct those automatic payments. They'll probably reinstate the automatic payments, instead.

OT- There have been two major stories regarding murders across the country; the australian college student in OK by 3 black teens who were "bored" so they shot this guy in the back for the hell of it, then the murder of a WWII veteran by 2 black men in WA. Why doesn't Barry Obama chime in and tell us what he thinks now?? The Australian Prime Minister told australians to boycott the US. Where are the protests and the marches for these senseless murders? Al Sharpton? J. Jackson? - not a word from these fools. The first lady took time out of her busy schedule (probably had to delay yet another vacation for her and the kids, after all you know she works so hard) to come to chicago for the wake of that girl who got shot in the park by some gang banger. I wonder if she will do the same for a WAR VETERAN who sacrificed for our country- a country which ms. obama was never proud of until they elected her husband, and come to his funeral to pay respects and give a memorial speech. The Obamas are a joke and neither of them deserved to reside in this country, let alone the White House.

I learned a long time ago that the dept. only tries to motivate those that can be motivated. The guys that are late everyday will always be late and the medical abusers will always abuse it. But if you are always on time or never hit the medical they will say something to you in an attempt to keep it from happening again and meanwhile the dogs just keep being dogs.

Why should I risk non violent resistance to corruption if I may get fucked by the very people who are getting fucked? If every speed camera was destroyed or rendered inoperable, wouldn't that send a great message to the little rat fuck mayor?

I agree lobbying politicians is useless, most of them are corrupt by power and greed, so there has to either be judicial intervention to end it or a select group of concerned citizens to act in concert to accomplish their goals of ending the corrupt program.
Damage is a temporary solution and one that cannot be done alone. It will also be met with resistance by the city administration including covert operations to identify the culprits. You would need a technological solution like signal jamming, software reprogramming or visual (lens focus) manipulation. Use your head and involve your tech friends. There is a means to your voice, and telling the politicians you and your group do not want these devices utilized through the use of superior intellect would open the conversation. It would have to be a sustained effort on the part of you and those in agreement with you, as the City, specifically those who have been corrupted and those drunk with power, along with the present control freak in charge will be obstinate and vindictive at any cost. Many cops might agree with you, but cannot LET you act.
