NYPD Turns Back on Mayor

A powerful statement in the wake of the assassination of two NYPD Officers:

Coming mere days after the PBA began circulating petitions to keep the mayor and other politicians who have been fanning the flames of hatred away from police funerals.

We turn to the always pointed commentary of the AceofSpades blog for this observation:
  • ...in light of the murder of twp NYPD officers, Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, I thought I'd bring up one quick concept that too many people tend to forget or understandably shy away from.

    This is what they do.

The political left in this country is comprised primarily of people who have a background as, or the mindset of, "community organizers". The job of a community organizer is to make things worse. They are the ones throwing gasoline on the fire and rubbing salt in the wounds. Their job is to sew turmoil, discord and hate. They work to prevent accord from being reached, to end cooperation between peoples and to head off agreement. They are professional shit stirrers.

    Why?

Ideologically, their reason is to destroy western civilization so that it can be replaced with a collectivist Utopia. That's great and all, but it's kind of fuzzy. Personally, however, their motivation is pure personal profit. There's not a single one of these sons of bitches that doesn't get rich ripping the scabs off of wounds, and in that lies the ultimate irony. They decry the capitalist and free marketeer as promoting a system based upon the assumption that people act from in own self interest, while at the same time demonstrating all of the traits that they condemn, proving that the capitalist was right in the first place. Human nature is human nature. None of this should surprise anyone who is a student of history, yet somehow it always does.

A peaceful, prosperous community or nation does not need community organizers. Community organizers, on the other hand, can't function in a peaceful, prosperous nation, so they are always, ALWAYS, striving to destroy it.

None of this is new, or surprising. We just need to remember who these people are.

...and here is more of the "depolicing" SCC has been speculating about --

"Police Union Says Two Units Must Respond to All Calls

"In the wake of the shootings, a statement purporting to be from the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, the biggest police union, gave instructions that effective immediately, “At least two units are to respond to every call, no matter the condition or severity, no matter what type of job is pending, or what the opinion of the patrol supervisor happens to be.”

"The statement, which circulated among officers, added: “Absolutely NO enforcement action in the form of arrests and or summonses is to be taken unless absolutely necessary and an individual MUST be placed under arrest. These are precautions that were taken in the 1970’s when Police Officers were ambushed and executed on a regular basis.”

It's hard to wrap your head around this one and how sick and awefull this fool of a mayor Del blasio is. HE IS BEYOND DISGUSTING. Why Bratton or anyone else with the slightest selfrespect would even be seen or heard with him is baffling. NYPD should be shouting him from the room or anyplace this snake of a fool appears. He should not even be allowed to come within a 1000 feet of a police officer. Not much the NYPD can do about our terrible president Obummer or Eric(racisit) Holder, but they sure can speak out when Del Blasio comes around.

I am so very proud of our NYPD brothers and sisters turning their backs to that rat cocksucker de Blasio when he had the chutzpah to appear at Woodhull Hospital after the executions of Officers Liu and Ramos. If he attempts to attend their funerals, retired NYPD should block his path.

I strongly suggest that the CPD and all police officers nationwide wear the black mourning band on their stars/ shields/badges through December 31st to make a solidarity statement to our antagonists, particularly the complicit scum mainstream media.

I'm calling a time out here because we're all playing a bit on a slippery slope.

I have over 40 years in law enforcement, starting as a cop and then more than three decades as a prosecutor -- and a Republican at that. The law isn't "conservative" or "liberal." It's the law and where we get into trouble is when people try to subvert its impartiality, regardless of the political or philosophical stripes.

Plenty of "liberals" have been on the right side of the law and plenty of "conservatives" haven't. Labels don't mean a damn thing. A dirtbag is a dirtbag regardless of whether he or she wears baggy pants or Brooks Brothers. And a law abiding citizen is a law abiding citizen regardless of whether he or she wears baggy pants or Brooks Brothers.

I once investigated a spurious complaint that an officer (white) had sexual contact with a (black) woman he stopped after a retail theft. It wasn't looking up for the officer until we got a call out the blue from a CHA resident who was present. She said that she did time for a murder and knows what prison is like and that her friend was an evil woman who likes to make false complaints and extort money. "That officer was nothing but kind to her. He could have made her post bond. Maybe it was his dream since he was five years old to be a police officer and that evil woman shouldn't be allowed to take it away from him."

That said, I agree that there are plenty of idiots and special interests who are fanning some very dangerous flames and may wind up with what they wish for: less law enforcement because fed up coppers doing the right thing don't want to worry whether they will be backed. I also agree about the lack of appropriate leadership from the elected denizens who have no clue what they are harvesting. In essence, they aren't liberals or conservatives but anarchists.

And it would be terribly foolish to say that cops are always honest or right. We've all seen a few instances where that wasn't the case. I've put a few in prison (like the moron stopping young men and soliciting sexual favors) and even more marginal people "were resigned" and good riddance to them. But most cops want to do the right thing and try hard to do it with increasingly less support from the very people who should be there.

Oh, that evil woman who falsely accused the officer of sexual assault? She got a whopping 30 days from a judge who didn't quite get how serious obstructing can be.

(The Paul Harvey moment: During our interview with the CHA resident she mentioned that the evil woman tries to extort money by false claims of adulterated products. Somehow the feds got motivated to reopen a dormant case, the USeless Attorney wasn't so useless and the federal judge less forgiving. Justice isn't always elegant but it's still justice.)

Great work NYPD!

From all indication, it seems the tenacity and intestinal fortitude your brotherhood possesses would serve well as a template that every other LE community - including CPD - should follow.

Even on years when we (thankfully!) didn't lose a brother or sister in the line of duty (and therefore had no surviving family on the reviewing stand), guys would still salute Shortshanks (and the Bossholes) just minutes after they talked about how much they loathed them.

Same story with guys that protest their hatred of 9.5, yet they line up to shake hands and take pictures with him at various functions/awards ceremonies. Our protest around City Hall regarding our contract had more spouses and coppers' kids than officers. All talk and no balls.

Kudos to you fellas, and keep up the fight.

These shitheels destroying this country are well trained in the game they're playing.

They KNOW and are HOPING all police all over the country lie down and tell them to go fuck themselves.

This is the point they're looking for in order to start their federal police force bullshit.

This shit will be sold to the public as a "tax saver" for them since the federal government will be paying for "protection" all around the country rather than local budgets paying for it.

And people will eat that shit all up.

And ALL municipalities and states will then be able to finally distribute all that pension gold amongst their friends to buy the next election while at the same time, America takes faster and faster steps towards socialism and federal control over it's populace.

People are too stupid to add things together unless it all happens in rapid succession.

Just how many times haver there been military style "practice" ambushes upon citizens in their own cities by the government? It's a regular occurrence now. It's sold to the idiots as "terrorism practice" and that's exactly what it is. Your own government practicing terrorism upon YOU to remind and teach YOU that they have the ability at any moment to attack YOU for attempting to remove a corrupt and criminal government.

This is the destruction of our country. Calculated by those who believe that the 99% have too much, demand too much freedom and demand to have the right to better their lives. And all because it costs the 1% money, and they want it all back to teach you all a lesson in poverty as control.

Don't let this government take what YOU have worked for all your lives. Take back your country.

Hey guys, some just got the memo that politicians hate the police? This has been the deal since the 1960s, nothing new here. Just to add, today we see a 3rd class of society being created by the ones in power. This generation and generations after, are subjected into a life of poverty and jail. In about 20 years, the usa is going to look like our friends south of the boarder, place like El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, our friends of the 3rd world variety. And we all know how they love the police in those countries

Will the New York Mayor educate his bi racial son again about how to act around Police Officers?

Will he point out to act with respect around them?

Will he stress the point that these two Officers lost their lives while in the routine of protecting people LIKE HIM. Good people.

They lost their lives because they wore the identifiable uniforms that dedicated men and women wear that try every day to separate the good from the bad.

The Mayor's son didn't lose a father, or a close family member.

The Dead Police Officer's Family wasn't so lucky.

Will he tell him that?

I doubt it.

If the police officers are suspended for their insubordination by turning their backs on the mayor, can their union arrange for the officers to all be suspended the same days?

Your honor, we were not illegally striking. We were merely all taking our administrative punishment the same week. It is not our fault the citizens of NYC burnt down Harlem, Brooklyn, and two other boroughs while we were suspended.

12/21/2014 02:24:00 AM

They have orders that say you must face the mayor when he is nearby

12/21/2014 11:22:00 AM

If true, that makes their action even more profound.
The mayor and commissioner would be well advised to forget the incident and not pursue disciplinary action.

"Same story with guys that protest their hatred of 9.5, yet they line up to shake hands and take pictures with him at various functions/awards ceremonies. Our protest around City Hall regarding our contract had more spouses and coppers' kids than officers. All talk and no balls."

Well said.
Nothing more than a bunch of one way punk bitches who chose as their Union leader another backstabbing PMF.

If we can't stick together then we have no one to blame but ourselves. We hold our future in our hands and we have great power. I remember after Bill Cozzi was indicted that in our station we stuck together. For one day. Yes, for only one day.

12/21/2014 03:47:00 PM

"our friends?" No friends of mine are down there.

Will Fop ,PBPA start to question why chicago police officers are driving the mayors children to school , guarding his home . Let them hire private security .
Suburban mayors do not require police to be their valets and drivers of family members . Time to play hardball , it's an election year .

12/21/2014 01:44:00 PM

Hardball? Good luck. How are you going to do that? How is the FOP going to do that? Ed Burke has his own cadre of retired PO's opening doors and carrying the groceries and driving
ed & wife all over including Wisconsin. And you say play, what did you call it, "hardball" with the mayor. That's a good one.

Idea: since white police are so mean to blacks, all white police should withdraw from all black areas. Blacks then form their own police, unsubsidized by whites*. That way, blacks get the level of policing they deserve. As an alternative, white leftists can put their money where their mouth is by volunteering to police black areas. Either way it's a win for everyone! :)

Get off your knees with Rhambo and whipe up and stand up like Fallon would!!!!!!

We should turn our backs on FLOP!
We pay dues for BS and pandering. Just look at our "Joe Biden" 1st VP the ray range guy. FLOP is a Ponzie scheme in bed with city hall. We can do better.

FOP does the bidding of city hall, those guys are good for nothing. In 5 years they are going to be the ones who sell off your pension. Ask any of your neighbors if they would be willing to pay an extra grand in property tax so you would get a pension. The answer is NO. People are already paying 7k, 10k in property tax. When can the average person retire anymore? Property tax alone kills you.

Rahm is busy building parks for people to smoke weed in at odd hours, fuck ur pension he says. This pension game is already set up, you would have dumb ass cops willing work 003 at 12 bucks an hour part time 30 hours, just give them a badge and a gun, assholes would do foot patrol

Give it a rest Office.

Don't blame the guys who try.

Direct your anger towards the ones who deserve it. Not the ones, the ONLY ones, who will help you when you call, even if you are a punk.

Unfortunately Ray the range guy knows nothing about union business. He doesn't know as much as the average unit rep. How the hell did he get elected 1st VP? He's one of those who is asked a question and says wait a minute and goes asks someone for you and then he reads the contract to you. Who the fuck needs that?

But he has that cute hat and nice suit and shiny shoes. But knows nothing.

Dougherty knew his shit. Tim Fallon was my go to guy. He never failed. He helped me get lawyers for PO's who got in deep deep shit off duty. Union didn't pay but the PO had a lawyer sitting next to him in the Area like the average shithead. I don't pass judgement on guilt but jeez, our guys deserve a lawyer like anyone.

Tim did good work for PO's. It felt like a kick in the nuts when I heard the news that lousy day, Feb 16, 2009. Timothy Martin F. Good man gone way too young.

Unfortunately Ray the range guy knows nothing about union business.

Lay off Ray he shows up late and eats at the Palace like he's a king. Must be nice for the former jarhead (back before he was the police-like 20 years ago) that knows nothing about service in the National Guard but he still advises Pos and gives them wrong info. Me hears he just calls down the Labor and accepts whatever they tell him. At Least he Could should up to work on time. Come on Ray. Admit that this is a way better gig than being a republican ward committeeman.

After your tenure as 1st VP you will get a pension at the high 3 yrs. NICE

I think the bulk of blame needs to be handed to the fine "journalists" both on television and in print who have done everything possible to paint law enforcement officers with a racist brush. If I were continually exposed to CNN airheads, black radio and local TV news that showcases community agitators, then I would have the attitude that any LOA is not to be trusted. Sure, the gunman was "lone" and mentally ill, but he was motivated by the attitudes he developed from information he was exposed to and his environment.
