I have friends in an organization called Brotherhood for the Fallen and they are Police Officers who attend such funerals in uniform representing the CPD.
Whenever you can attend the fundraising events they hold so they can continue to represent the CPD at Police Officers' funerals around the country.

Here they are going in the opposite direction. With the proposed 10 hour shift in 005 they are cutting patrol strength by 33% and perhaps more after a year or so.
I was at that 'Town Meeting" with all affected aldermen and Commanders and McBourbon and his right hand lackey and heard him PROMISE that police strength would NOT go down.

That's no bullshit. There has been armed attacks at police desks across the country. I recall a knife attack in 023 and the attacker got killed by a quick acting copper or maybe sgt.
FOP put something together in Chicago the day of these cops funerals. There are many us who can't make it New York for their service. You get a few thousand active and retired cops from the entire state to show up.
