Suburban Cops Injured in Fire

  • A woman and four police officers were injured in a fire early Wednesday in west suburban Berwyn.

    Crews were called to the scene of a fire at an apartment building in the 3200 block of Maple shortly after 1 a.m., Berwyn Fire Department officials said.

    The fire had been extinguished and all crews had left the scene by 4:15 a.m., fire officials said.
