Ha-Ha-Ha Harvard

Remember when all the Harvard professors were telling Obama how to get insurance coverage for every American? And those darn republicans and tea party types said it couldn't be done without raising taxes, redistributing wealth and bankrupting the middle class? Guess who just noticed their middle class / upper middle class lifestyle changing for the worse?
  • For years, Harvard’s experts on health economics and policy have advised presidents and Congress on how to provide health benefits to the nation at a reasonable cost. But those remedies will now be applied to the Harvard faculty, and the professors are in an uproar.

Members of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the heart of the 378-year-old university, voted overwhelmingly in November to oppose changes that would require them and thousands of other Harvard employees to pay more for health care. The university says the increases are in part a result of the Obama administration’s Affordable Care Act, which many Harvard professors championed.

The faculty vote came too late to stop the cost increases from taking effect this month, and the anger on campus remains focused on questions that are agitating many workplaces: How should the burden of health costs be shared by employers and employees? If employees have to bear more of the cost, will they skimp on medically necessary care, curtail the use of less valuable services, or both?
Gee, economics is actually subject to reality. Who'd have thunk it?

Go read the entire article if you can stomach the New York Times - the whining by the liberals is amazing. "We didn't know we'd have to pay for all this" and "We meant for everyone else to shell out, not us!"

I guess Jonathan Gruber was right when he was “caught openly boasting about taking advantage of, what he calls, 'the stupidity of the American voter'” in order to get Obamacare to pass.

A wise democrat once said something to the effect: "From each according to his means, and to each according to his needs". That means some leveling out of income will happen, but in the end everyone will be about the same, money wise. It's called social justice and wealth equality.

Fuck you liberal assholes. You wanted it, now you got it. But you don't like it when you have to pay for it? You expected the American middle class to foot the bill for all the illegals and welfare clowns you wanted to be taken care of. Suck it and enjoy it.

So...

The whip-smart oh so clever yellow-pinky propeller-heads at Harvard who helped midwife this monstrosity called Obama Care into existence are complaining?

That big, ugly, multi-titted, crown wearing, purple and gold bag swingin', teeth like broken mirror glass bitch named Karma has torn the ass out of some really smart pants huh?

The rest of everybody else should be lined up to kick these highly educated, intentionally obtuse nitwits in their asses...

"WAAAAAH!
We don't wanna take the nasty-assed medicine you typical middle class schlubs have to!"

Bunch of smarter than everybody else assholes entirely too used to laughing up their sleeves at everybody else.

Can we start building the scaffolds in preparation for The Great Correction & Snatch-Back?

Its funny Harvard is one of the most prestigious Universities in the world and what they deem proper for all is not for them. I guess what is good for the goose is not good for the gander as far as Harvard is concerned.

"And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." -- Rev. 6:6

Considering the income disparity between a tenured professor and the lady who washes dishes in the cafeteria, this will undoubtedly proportionately hurt the lower-level employees much more than the pipe-smokers at the top.

Nice arrangement.

Megan McArdle is a very good blogger on economic issues. She is easy to read, often funny, and unusually honest . She has a blog post about the Harvard employees discovering Obama care.

Fox News blasted them for what they are...

Now maybe those Harvard Dons can do some digging and find what BHO wrote for the Harvard Law Review.

It's something they should have done twelve years ago and maybe we wouldn't be in this mess.

Harvard over rated! My kid went to Notre Dame and during the new student parent presentation they showed a great film all about Notre Dame and its history, 4 Horsemen,Knute Rockne, Many other things then then said, "you hear Harvard,Yale,Dartmouth all good schools" but then you hear Notre Dame what name is more revered?

Harvard "now we have to pay" great job educated idiots, as your friend and obamas pastor said "The chickens have come home to roost" welcome to "change harvard can believe in"!

Hey, moron. It wasn't a wise democrat that said that. It is the mantra of the communists. Unless you meant that Karl Marx was a wise democrat.

Fox News reports that increased deductibles provoked the outrage at Harvard. ANNUAL deductibles are increasing to $250 single, $750 family. After that, Harvard picks up 91%. Normal people would find this to be a pretty good plan. Harvard faculty coming off as arrogant, cheap, cry-babies.

The average salary for a tenured Harvard professor is close to 193,000 per year. Warren Buffett takes a salary from Berkshire-Hathaway of $100,000. So, who are those "greedy 1%ers" who deserve to have their wealth redistributed to pay for everybody else's health care????

I guess that lesson came home in spades to the Harvard elites.
