Hospital Staff v Police?
- On a side note. The head nurse at Little Company of Mary Hospital where the injured Officer went to be treated told a Sgt. that the days of preferential treatment for police and fire are over. Even going so far as yelling at the injured Officers family. Most of the staff at the hospital was extremely confrontational and wouldn't let other Officers that came to lend their support in to see the injured Officer, telling some to get back on the street and do your job. The head nurse and "security guard" should be fired immediately.
We've had a couple of officers offer to take this up through channels with LCM Hospital as there are a number of professional and personal connections with the Order that runs the hospital. This less than professional behavior should be nipped in the bud.
