Hello Big Brother
The media in general is at the beck and call of democrats - even when Nature calls:
- Reporters covering the House Democrats' retreat in Philadelphia this week are having a much different experience than when they’re on their home turf on Capitol Hill.
Reporters are being escorted to and from the restroom and lobby and are being barred from entering the hotel outside of scheduled events, even if they've been invited by a member of Congress.
During Vice President Joe Biden’s remarks at the retreat Friday, reporters were required to have a staff member, usually a junior member of the press team, escort them when going to the bathroom or to the lobby.
Anyone out there remember a time when any self-respecting reporter would bristle, then refuse, to accede to controls like this? It was only 25 or 30 years ago after all.

This country is corcling the bowl. Sad.
If the reporters had any integrity, they would walk out.
We all know they do not. Many of us have first hand experiences aboutt this.
Treating Reporters like Criminals. Where is Freedom of the Press?
Now they know what it's like to work for Pravda.
It is a fact that except for Fox, the media is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Democrat National Party.
Back in 2012, the GOP wanted
/tried to bar all media reporters from their California convention.
remember when they earned the job title of reporter?
Now hold mommy's hand while we go to tinkle.
Act like a lapdog, get treated like one. Dumbasses.
Im surprised. The press is afterall an arm of the Democrat party.
They should look back to history when the Communists took power. Reporters, university professors, teachers, doctors and lawyers disappeared when they left to go to the washroom. They were escorted too....
Big Brother snuck in the back door, in the "most transparent" administration.
Currently, the media is in between Stage 1 and 2 of being controlled by the government. Stage 1 is allowing political bias and leaving facts out. Stage 2 is outright forgery. Stage 3 moves past forgery to "the substitution of one piece of nonsense for another" (Orwell).
A not so free press pairs well with a not so free society.

SCC, I can and it was longer than thirty years ago. The last decent investigation by reporters was when Nixon's house of cards came down.
Please stay safe out there.
Not LEO, just a supporter and respecter.
Royko is spinning in his grave !
Did the staffer have to hold their little weenees for them?
Now, kees me you fool !!!!
The is a new age we live live in today, fortunately and unfortunately!

Because they knew the libtarded media would write nothing but bullshit and lies. You aren't obliged to invite the press and you can restrict access to the event if you like.
But if you have the media show up and then lead them through their paces like a show dog and restrict who they see, talk to, question, then the media is just your lapdog
Liberal media equals Pravda.
When the leftists have total control, they will liquidate the lapdog press along with academia, as they will no longer serve any purpose.
If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.... Right???? At least that's what I've always heard.
This goes hand in hand with today's reporters reporting subjectively and not objectively.
Sharyl Attkisson, (possibly the best investigative reporter left in America), remembers:

"A story in Politico caught my eye because of the familiar ring. Reporters covering the House Democrats’ retreat in Philadelphia complained about their tight rein.
“It was a police state. It was absurd how heavy handed the capitol police and Democratic staff were in trying to control everywhere the press went,” New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters said in an interview.
It’s not uncommon. I recalled my astonishment when, not long ago while covering a Health and Human Services (HHS) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) conference in a public federal building for CBS News, I was escorted to the bathroom each time I needed to visit it throughout the course of the day. Once there, the government minder did not leave me to my own devices, but stood outside the bathroom door to escort me back. Meantime, non-press attendees–government employees and academics –were allowed to go to the bathroom unencumbered.
The federal government is increasingly invasive when it comes to reporters doing their jobs. In the past, I have been allowed to receive background briefings from federal officials, one-on-one. But I can’t remember the last time I received information directly from a federal official without a press minder from the public affairs office listening in as a requirement, occasionally interrupting or ending answers to questions that apparently were not headed in the right direction.
In the instance of the Democrats’ retreat, the New York Times’ Peters told Politico: “he was told by a staffer they were being escorted to prevent them from talking to members of Congress.”
It should be concerning to all when government officials increasingly separate themselves from exposure to the public they serve and the press that is supposed to help hold them accountable.

Why would they complain? They're fucking supporters of a fascist government. And by the way, the Nazis were Socialists, you left wing dunces.
