Rodney Blissett.. has been an xo for about two months. Is wysingers guy. Has had a cake career. worked in 001 for the entire time.. made sgt and went to being a sgt for the bikes.. was the bike sgt for his whole time. Made Lt and went to a soft spot. Made XO 2 months ago and went to 007... Now after ALL that time.. Waiting all that time.. Gaining SOOO much experience from his time as an XO he makes commander??? Hmmmmm, is AL going to be moving up soon and getting some people in the right place? Or will AL be moving on and making sure his best of friends get taken care of before his departure. Look out 006, a real braindead and know nothing is headed your way.
Shuffling leadership around always works wonders for organization. It keeps the rank and file off balance and guessing.

Does anyone really give a shit anymore about who went where? Endless layers of administrative supervision and for what? When the smoke clears, the attention fades, and the public gets bedazzled by another kardashian story, none of these people are held accountable for anything. They are all politicians with badges and guns. In the end, the patrol officer is the only one who faces any real consequence for all the mismanaged, ill-conceived, and sometimes criminal policies they implement. The city wanted to do more with less, and claimed crime was down. They wanted to save money so they never replaced thousands of officers who retired and consolidated several districts. All station responsibilities have been designated to officers and one desk sergeant, aka station supervisor. If there are less officers, less districts, and less responsibilities, explain the necessity for promoting and keeping more supervisors and exempt ranks?
Whoever is talking shit about Godsel obviously don't know the guy. He worked gang and tact in 025 for many years, and came in with more arrest activity than you'll ever have.

Mark Harmon you sir live in my neighborhood, always been very personable, treat coppers fairly happy to say "you deserve it" 022 your finally getting an intelligent, honest, fair boss! Nice to see intelligence being rewarded! Worked special mass transit mark was sergeant treated us well way back then!
Darlin should be the Commander of 007. He's very smart and knows how to treat people the correct way. I wish I could work my entire career for him!

Watch out for Waller, soft talker, does nothing to get promoted step after step, supposed to be a Hillard guy, got a step brother that follows along quietly, might be Sgt' now. It just never changes; It ain't want you do, it's who does it for you.
How about moving commander west to the pillow testing unit. That is the bulk of her experience as a Chicago police officer.
Godsel is one of the best Commanders so if you have a problem with him your a tool. This guy was on the street with his people and always backed them up. Takes care of his coppers and one of the nicest guys around. So shut your hole before you have a whole district of coppers talking shit to you about your ball less ass who probably never worked the street.
Godsel not do Police work? You obviously don't know shit. He was a hard worker as a Patrolman and never insulted people anonymously either.

Harmon was the architect of the squad policing pilot program. A true lap dog if ever there was one. In 007 he simply looked confused and, frightened. A pompous and arrogant prick. And he has gotten what most pompous and arrogant pricks get on this job after fucking up the operation of the department from the seclusion of an office. He gets a gold star! Candyass.

Yeah, I used to like it, too, the first couple of times it was printed here, but not the last three hundred.

The idiot that dumped him was Jimmy "I don't have a clue" Jackson. Weis screwed this place up like no ones business, Panepinto is a smart guy and will be missed in 009. The DOC got a great boss, I think 009 did as well. Now go back to your bedroom in your Mom's house and pout.

After doing the job of a DSS I can say that the position of Captain as a WC was an absolute waste of money on a connected few. The Capt. had a Desk sgt, a Watch secretary, did nothing but initial an arrest report if he was around. Talk about a show up no work job. Don't let them BS you with the " it's a lot of responsibility" , I've never seen a Capt. Get included on a beef or federal law suit. They also directed it downhill to the PO and Sgt. Now the Lt.s do nothing, they come and go like the wind, and the Capt./XO's is just an appointed spot from which no one falls from. There are 2 departments, the PO's and Sgt.s and then management..... You might as well give me a blue shirt.... For I would have more pride in it than the white one......

OMG, Genessa Lewis, was a Sgt. down in the 1st deputys office . was brought in by John Thomas as they had worked tighter before, well she was supposed to be working on Budgets but used to disappear while on duty to bodyguard somebody who was campaigning to be an Alderman, she got caught and she was dumped, she has some whack, made Lt., then commander of 2nd district where she ran it into the ground due to being an incompetent boss. now a Captain, filling the female quota spot no less. Certainly there are better choices out there.!!!!! Sorry G, but whats right is right.
Does it really make a difference? we are so short handed we need more street coppers, with the major hiring classes of 86-90 retiring at a rapid place the coppers need to be replaced, and to be selfish that also would help contribute to making us dinosaurs comfortable as you pump up the pensions! Leo should have never been dumped by Jimmy Jackson. Leo was dumped due to Jacksons incompetant racist secreaty.
I personally don't know who this Leo Panepinto character is but so far I heard that he was previously dumped by a high ranking boss. Some people blamed Jody Weis, James Jackson because he is clueless, and the racist secretary. Quit playing the "Blame game" Panepinto may have got what he deserved.
If you think Leo got what he deserved, then you're right abut not knowing him. He's an excellent boss who cares about his troops. But he doesn't suffer dogs or snakes well. My guess is if you don't like a boss such as Leo, you're either one or the other. Leo doesn't say bad things about others, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't know what's going on.
Congrats on getting out of Patrol Leo. The DOC is lucky to get you back.
