Did We Miss This One?
- A woman fatally shot a man who broke into her home and beat her early Sunday in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.
About 5:15 a.m., the 30-year-old man broke into a home in the 400 block of East 62nd Street and began to beat the woman who lived there, according to Chicago Police.
The 28-year-old woman was able to grab a handgun and shot the man to death during the struggle, police said.
Once again, a gun helps prevent a crime. Imagine that.

must have been a "gun free" zone
got to obey those little stickers with the red circle/line on them
that makes it safe, and okay to go through there, right?????????????????
If you are gonna shoot,... Shot to kill
>Pfffft!<
Push the fuck on...
Fuck y'all standin' around

The offender was black.
The victim was black.
The Police were thankfully only

Have nothing to do with anyone.
Respond.
Report.
Oversee the clean-up.

Repeat.
Return home to your families safe and sound.
Too bad she's not treated like a hero. The detectives lock her up, hold her for the state's attorney, and process her in the lock up even though they know they can't charge her, and eventually released without charging.
If that woman had not had access to a gun, the man would still be alive. Now a man is dead because of easy access to firearms. A man who might have made valuable contributions to society.
A body of a missing was found today up on some railroad tracks in 006. Two gunshot wounds and the family says he was in debt to dope dealers who have been threatening to kill him. He has been missing since December. The classification on this one???? Yep, death investigation.
This is great!! Keep it up.
Maybe at this rate black home owners and black store keepers may righteously kill more offenders than the CPD. Wouldn't that screw up BLM.
Don't mess with that woman. Good for her.
Did she have a FOID card?
I noticed nothing was said about foid chicago registration before under the StreetLightMarksman
She would be in the hot seat too
Well, there's the good news for this week.
Thank you foe saving Illinois taxpayers millions of future dollars that would've been spent dealing with this criminal's mayhem and progeny.
At last some good news!
Good for her!!
She knew he was coming for her sooner or later. Hopefully she rests better now.

Thank you to that great lady, you saved the taxpayers, you saved innocent lives, killing thugs quick dirt naps should be the norm in the communities where animals attack innocent people!
Now she has to worry about the dead asshole's
littermates taking revenge...
"Fuckyaw! We finna handle our bidness..."
And they don't need nobody going in their neighborhoods
tellin' them how to do, either.
Thank goodness the 28 year old woman took affirmative active in the protection of her own life policy. The home invader was seconds away while police were minutes away. She may have prevented a rape, a predatory criminal sexual attack, an aggravated battery with serious bodily harm, strangulation or some other heinous criminal act.
A loaded firearm against a physically stronger in the commission of a forcible felony criminal, levels the playing field. How many residential burglaries or the not so important just a property crime, have ended up in home invasions and murders? But the emphasis by CPD brassholes is on violent crimes by worthless shithead gangbangers not prioritizing protecting the deserving more police service taxpayers.
How many other homes has the justifiably homicided perpetrator invaded? A long criminal history, a proven track record of crime and a disregard for established rules and laws in an orderly society are his legacy. Certainly not his first criminal rodeo. Let’s say this home was occupied by an 80 year old senior citizen, one could only imagine what criminal extremes this piece of shit home invader would have committed. Or consider tender underage girls doing homework with a grown ass man with sexual molestation opportunities on his mind creeping around in their home. It takes an armed citizen to protect the village.
God fearing citizens are grateful the woman protected herself from further harm, but this was not an easy decision for her. Self defense is a justifiable moral decision in an orderly society. The ruling political class sees this as an affront to their political goal of turning over society to criminals, having its citizenry live in constant fear and advancing their objective of disarming law abiding productive contributing American citizens.
Bang bang, la boom!
It’s a crying shame that a 30 year old male must resort to breaking and entering property crimes for sustenance in an underserved community. Where are all the J-O-B-S? All the “protected class” provisions, Title VII protections, civil rights legislation and set aside programs failed this male which has led up to a life of crime and his ultimate demise.
Girl power and good riddance to another cowardly woman beater! This works better than the VAWA - Violence against woman act.
She shoulda bought a Rockwilder or Pit Bool. The offender prolly woulda suffered a lot more.
Seems like a nice clean shot. Any details...conceal carry..foid...the caliber used.. the race of all subjects involved...background info etc...hmmmm the media never wants to talk about the good shit.

Not really, under state law she could not have been charged with any city ordinance violation or sued because it was self defense.....The fact is, just days after winning the 2004 Democrat nomination for U.S. Senate and becoming a statewide candidate, then-State Sen. Obama signed on as a co-sponsor of SB 2386, a bill that protected persons qualified to use a "stand your ground"-like defense from being sued in civil court by the person who was the attacker or their estate. The bill passed unanimously in a Democrat-controlled Senate, passed with an overwhelming majority in the Democrat-controlled House, and was signed into law by Democrat Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
At the time, Illinois law already protected a person from being criminally charged if he was defending himself, his dwelling or another's property. SB 2386 added civil protection.
