Sentencing.....Again
- California communities may be feeling the fallout from a controversial measure that reduced penalties for a range of crimes, as law enforcement report an uptick in everything from robberies to auto theft – and point the finger squarely at what’s known as Prop 47.
The measure was approved at the ballot box in 2014 and downgraded many nonviolent offenses like property crimes and simple drug offenses from felonies to misdemeanors, part of an effort to reduce prison over-crowding in the state.
But as the measure has been implemented, several police departments have reported a spike in shop-lifting and auto theft, among other crimes, and in part blame Prop 47.
How big of an increase?
- Recent press reports show that in San Francisco, robberies are up 23 percent; in Los Angeles, violent crimes are up 20 percent; and in Sacramento, homicides are up 23 percent.
But hey, prisons are emptying, so everything must be great!

It's all a dog and pony show. He acts like he's mad at them but will be joking around with them as soon as he sees them again.
What measures are in place to remove a local states attorney if necessary.
I hope the people who voted NO have moved away and the people who wanted to live in crime are happy.
Chicago is headed in the same direction. I only hope my family and I can survive and move away in 9 years. Which will be here before I know it :)

Rahm should call out the Cook County Democrats process for "vetting" judges: it has nothing to do with ability or suitability and everything to do with party loyalty, being a party team player, and waiting your turn.

State Representatives Kwame Raoul (endorsed by FOP) and LaShawn Ford are working hard for their criminal constituencies and have been proposing a raft of similar legislation for Illinois over the past year.
They are in lockstep with Obama/Holder policies for emptying federal prisons and dumping convicts (aka Democratic voters) on the streets.
These are nothing short of scorched earth policies and prove the contempt these politicians have for the law.

The difference is that although it is cheaper dollar for dollar to keep these mutts locked up, the burden of the revenue source to keep someone locked up falls on toni Perp-winkle and the county and the taxpayer. If they don't keep them locked up, the cost of the damages they cause is passed on squarely to the taxpayer (shootings, violent crime), the individual victims and their insurance companies (property damage, theft, ect). It's super easy to pull a smoke and mirrors trick like saying "oh my god it's racist!!!! Too many blacks in jail!!!! Vote for me!!!!" When in reality the county just doesn't want to pay the bills for these animals. Kind of like us. Running for office on a popular social platform (hating the police, the peoples/folks Democratic Party of cook county) is a sure fire way to fleece money from taxpayers. It's not like the tax rates here will go down if we let all the criminals out, so where is that money going to go if it's not feeding ray ray and moo moo and giving them a spot to stay at play cards and watch cable tv? Into Mr. Tony Prekwinkle's pocket, Foxx's as well, and undoubtedly Rahm will get a cut too. I should definitely pass the dick's test for sure, I just figured it all out!!!!!! Oh wait. Nvm.
Not a PO, this is how Foxx will be worse than Alvarez. For a long time now, Foxx has been an open hater of the police and ran on a platform of police reform. "Police reform" to someone like her means putting cops in jail. For anything she can. While she will want to let go "low level felonies" for normal people/folks, without even looking at seeking a conviction, any case of a police officer even being accused of doing anything wrong, whether it be credible or not, will be vetted and prosecuted to the fullest extent. Mind you, any case of police misconduct however small will be treated as a criminal matter. I highly doubt that the slowdown of policing and the uptick of violent crime is going to level out at this point. It's coming from a pumping of the brakes, to a crawl, to a complete halt. After she convicts her first copper, Cpd might throw that fucker in reverse. It's hard enough to get a shithead convicted and sentenced to anything amounting to a real punishment in cook county as it is. The states attorneys office will flat out not prosecute a wide variety of cases with her at the helm. These two factors in conjunction will lead to a crippling of street level protection for tax paying citizens, and a flooding of the streets with offenders. You do the math.

She has no EXPERIENCE! Once a ASA is hired out of law school they start out in felony review, from there they get their feet wet and gain a little litigation experience in branch court and juvenile court. After a few years experience they get assigned to a third chair in a felony court room, then second chair, then 1st chair. Then you get promoted to supervisors, from what we hear Foxx was a juvenile court ASA, that court is a joke, if you don't believe me go sit in a couple of cases, the punishment they dole out there is writing a book report, secret probation, and super secret probation. This lady has never worked her way up the ranks of the states attorneys office, never litigated a murder trial, and never handled a police involved shooting and she is now suppose to be the most experienced attorney to run the office? We all know the only reason she won the primary was because of her race and political affiliation. Is that clear enough?

Preckwinkle is her puppet master. Foxx will not be allowed to have an independent thought. Thank god she will not be in charge this summer. I fear we lose the city by Memorial Day weekend. All days off cancelled for 4th of July weekend. If she was in charge not asking for any bond for all non-violent offenses at fartwinkle's request the city could look like Ferguson or Baltimore with our ball less bosses and mayor.
Speaking of lax sentencing. The Honor Student that shot and killed an officer in Greenville today was 17 and:
Mackey was arrested in March 2015 for strong arm robbery. He was convicted and sentenced to 10-years suspended for 251 days time served.

Even better Trump says Putin respects Trump unlike respecting barry, so when Trump takes office maybe we could charter some jumbo jets and send our thugs for a lesson in diversity.
