ABC7 reported tonite on the 10 pm news that "they were told" no police officers we injured during the protests in Chicago this weekend. They of course did not say who "told" them this nor did they care to verify it with any of the area hospitals. Just a short time after the horses were pelted with bottles a 1st district Sgt was sucker punched by one of the protesters and taken away in an ambulance to Northwestern were it was determined he had a concussion from the blow to the head. After being punched the Sgt was still able to take down the coward who hit him but responding officers had a hard time distinguishing the perpetrator from all the horseshit on the street left by the ponies so it took awhile to get cuffs on him.
Remember boys and girls, this racist militant was happy about Dallas, will Mr Preckwinkle bond him out? She pays him right?

I am not a police officer, but someone who supports our police. The job they are faced with is unimaginable to most. I am sickened by what I see on the news. Mr. Obama you have set this country back when it comes to race relations. You and your democratic party, (national, state and local) had an certain agenda which unfortunately thus far have succeeded in creating a divide among it's citizens.
As for the superintendent, you sir, are a disgrace. I know that restaurant. You never ask for permission. Just ask where it is and then use it. The crapper is in the basement of the hotel that is connected to the restaurant. Just use it. You're a policeman, use the goddamned pisser whenever you want.
I recall two shiny pants old guys ordering a bag of food from McDonalds at Chicago and State. The counter kid told one of the old coppers the price. The copper just said "We don't pay" as he tapped his star and pointed to it. He just walked out with dinner.

No decent person would say no to a Police Officer needing to relieve himself.

Just to update, we were polite and respectful and I would have bought something to use the restroom. They were total haters of police officers. As a matter of fact, I'm not big on discounts and always over compensate with tips. They clearly despise the police.
"I know that restaurant. You never ask for permission. Just ask where it is and then use it. The crapper is in the basement of the hotel that is connected to the restaurant. Just use it. You're a policeman, use the goddamned pisser whenever you want."

I was with my partner yesterday around Harrison and Wabash waiting to prevent any protesters from moving west. We both needed use a restroom and went into a restaurant named Tamarind 614 S. Wabash. The lady asked in perfect English "Can I help you." We requested if we could use the restroom. Her response in a condescending tone.."ohhh, I'm sorry the restroom is only for customers." We were turned away. We were completely unwelcome in there. If you work in that district, I think their outdoor patio is a perfect place to drop off bums who need a place to sleep and urinate. Total police haters. I'm glad I spent my day making sure no protesters interfered with their business.

maybe they are not police haters so much as they don't want their facilities used by non-customers. most businesses do not want freeloaders coming in and using their facilities.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Rules are rules, washrooms for non "freeloaders". Guess the police will have to ensure the restaurant and all of their customers are following the rules too. Only fair. Just following the rules.
There are several important points in this post. First. Never patronize a place you're not welcome in. Verbally or nonverbally, they'll let you know. Second, never threaten a place who has let it be known that you're not welcome at. Coppers have been poisoned by eating at places that let them know they weren't welcome.

I wrote about that as a review of their site on YELP yesterday.
I haven't checked to see if it got past their censors.
I just checked. My Yelp review of Tamarind restaurant not letting the coppers use their bathroom is at the top of the page. Small victory.

Ja'mal Green has two go fund me pages up. #1 Started 12/08/15, raised $2326.00 of 30K goal, no contributions for at least three months. #2 started four days ago, $220.00 of 10K goal. Most are neg comments about why/what the money is for.
