Prayer Vigil
Planned by some CPD spouses:
- PRAYER VIGIL TO SUPPORT LAW ENFORCEMENT
Sunday July 24th @ 10:00 AM
1718 S. State St, Chicago
In front of the 001 District Station
We are having a prayer Vigil to support all of our brave men and women in Law Enforcement. Please wear blue and feel free to make signs to show support. This is going to be a peaceful vigil to show we stand behind our police.
The party forwarding this along apologized for the short notice. Apparently this was just planned.

Please rest in peace. Build in strength
Can you break a few windows and block a freeway so you make sure you get on the news?
Everyone else is doing it nationwide!
SCC I'm not so sure we should post this police gathering to the public. I don't even have to explain why in this negative police climate.
I will be there ofcourse, but will have my eyes open and keeping our six covered!!
This is a good thing.
I can't be there for that particular prayer vigil, but I assure you that each and every one of you on da' job remain in my thoughts AND prayers.
Ol' vet ret.
My Village is doing a little something this week to show our support for you guys and gals in Blue, and every other color uniform you may wear.
+++++ 'We Are One! Ecumenical Service July 28th' +++++
--- All are invited to attend the Village's Ecumenical Service to help bring our community closer together, show support for law enforcement officers, and our desire for united peace. The symbolic Blue and White Service will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 28th outside of Village Hall at Kagann Plaza. ---
But that's not all. There's more we are doing in our village.....
--- 'Residents are invited to show their personal support by placing large blue and white ribbons on a tree, post, or mailbox in their front yard during the period of July 28th through August 1st. The display of blue and white colors represents support of our police officers and our coming together in peace - both are great ways to acknowledge that "We are One".' ---
The above came in a special email alert from my village on Friday. So unlike Rahm and that asshole in NYC, WE support law enforcement and NOT those 'Black Lies Murder' domestic terrorists.
Short notice I would say so. How about some planning next time.
Darn, would have gone but just saw this.
God Bless LEOs, you have the toughest jobs & are indeed, greatly appreciated.

SCC- Need some help.
I need an old posting with the Pfather Pfagler dollars. I need to start donating them to St. Barnabas for the idiot Pastor Malloy that invited Pflager in for a meeting and is thinking about it again. Thanks for your help.

I will be there

Can't run and hide my friend... GOD BLESS OUR POLICE
Blessed are the police who give great sacrifices everyday not knowing what evil may come their way.
To wit, today in Germany again;
Remarkably, a German citizen stepped in to help police arrest the machete-wielding killer. An eyewitness told German newspaper Bild: “The perpetrator was completely out of his mind. He ran with his machete even behind a [police] car. A BMW driver gave it some gas and ran him over. Then he lay prostrate and did not move”.
— now remember, the bad guy "only" had a big knife and chased a police car with it.
I expect there's a #movement mob forming massive protests tonight and Merkle will give them their space.
Please everyone stay safe, be aware of everything around you, now more than ever. Go home to you family every night.
