- On 28 Jun 16, 3rd Watch desk Sgt A. was bitten by an offender in the station. Everything captured on multiple officers camera. Offender tasered and Sgt. also taken to St. Mary's Hospital. Since Stripper Eddie likes to release video of Officers supposedly doing wrong, let's see if he releases this.
Let's go. Get it out there. You're so eager to tell everyone what steps your taking to make sure the Department is under control. How about releasing a few incidents of citizens being assholes? Doesn't that fit the narrative?

The FOP should post some instructions on how to submit FOIA request for officers cameras and provide an upload site. I am a citizen who has recently retired and would happily wade through the videos and upload them for internet posting. I am sure there are hundreds of others who would be willing to help with this task.

Keep dreaming guys. Ever since the topic of body cameras came up coppers would say "Good! Now the public can see the shit we deal with everyday"! And I'd be the only one saying that it's not gonna happen. Everyone thought the body cameras were going to be used to spotlight the shithead lifestyle and behavior or as evidence to prosecute someone filing a false complaint. Wrong!!! The body camera footage exists for 2 reasons - to jam you up or to get you out of a beef. The city will never use the footage against its protected citizens. Bet on it.
Releasing the tape would only serve to prove what we all know to have been and is now still true that the so called good citizen is in reality an asshole when interacting with the police. Can't have a contrived misconception be spoiled by the truth it would hurt ratings and votes.

My response to these goofs is to remain professional. Do your job by answering your dispatched calls. Back each other up on the street and check off. Battery report?
