Eddie Welch is a merit hack, He is waiting to bring Merit hack MB back to cheese. The IG is currently looking at the recent transfer/detail of merit Lt to IAD against the city hiring plan along with the suckhole merit people who went to the detective division.
But who has the best references?

Not sure who the Sgt is that help start the cheating investigation but I am sure he or she is going to get a very large payout and possibly an extra promotion or two. There is no way possible the IG can not connect the dots, it is way to obvious who cheated. From previous cases I have seen, the whistle blower is untouchable and usually gets paid several years total of their salary plus pain and suffering. I am sure the city of Chicago will make a backroom deal with this whistle blower which will be ofcourse confidential and we will never hear anything else about it. There are to many heavy people connected to this cheating scandal. The embarrassment would run all the way to city hall and the Mayor cant have that...isnt that right Eddie, Al,unit 121 & Gene.
I'll bet you Lie-Tenant Fenner would be interested.

I know every one of the Lt' that know they are going to IAD, Hint -MBA from the Midwest school of Harvard, Chicago State University. 6 presidents graduated from this University. Durbin got his PhD from there along with 50 U S Senators of the past. Get a 2.0 gpa from Crane high school after doing 7 years there till you become an honor student and there you go to # 2 University in USA.
You N/S guys would never make the cut at Chicago state U. Many tried and failed.

Eddie's ethics are the same as Rahm's. Did you see that press release about putting desk officers and officers working as custodians back on the street? We all know that's bs but you know what isn't? Eddie has added 3 POs and a sergeant to his personal office staff. The girl with the dragon tattoo (on her neck) can barely read, but her only job is being Eddies scribe. He must not say much worth writing down because she puts in 2 hour days. His extra sergeant grabbed a take home car and is hiding till her # comes up on the LT test. She must be smart, because she's friends with Eddie and Nekia and she scored real well. Eddie, practice what you preach! Stop hiding people in your office.
What happened to having civilians working the desk and P/Os going back to the street? Now you have a civilian sitting at the desk in addition to all 6 people sitting at the desk. Even though we all know some of these people are better off inside. It would be nice to be able to take a day off.

Well between Eddie Johnson telling detectives "we need more black and brown detectives" not just more detectives and that the officer that kicked that dope dealing piece of garbage who was attempring to strangle his partner is "gonna take a little time." Now we'll probably see some cheating Lieutenants be placed in IAD. At least put the merit people there. We know where we're at with them.

You have to have one year in grade to be considered. That takes out all lieutenants promoted from the last exam. The last sergeant to be promoted to lieutenant from IAD prior to this test was Barbara West.

Asians are always a safe play.
In the 80's I applied for a gang crimes specialist position as advertised in the daily bulletin. A sergeant I knew well told me the selections are sometimes made before "applications" are taken. Nothing has changed.
As much as Lie-Tenant Fenner wouldn't deserve it I'd love to see her take that spot.
She's already worn out her welcome in 009 by her boundless ineptitude and penchant for micro managing.
It also would add a further twist of irony to her whole sordid tale of cheating to become a Lie-Tenant .

Someone with management experience and a brain please help medical section..I see civilians are there but why arent they helping the 2 officers in blue?Plus isnt there a dress code to work down there??flip flops and tropical dresses r for the beach and not work..why was i given a 7 am appointment if gal in referrals is strolling in late looking at me Like my wife does when i wake up..hey i got hurt trying to keep this city safe..and thats the thanks i get.i guess qualifications required to work down there are dress sloppy, have large visible tattoos (preferably neck, arms, hands and feet),speak a foreign language and be lazy.,,the city that works!!

Promotion or two. This Sgt. was too stupid to pass when given the answers and you think they deserve a promotion. I doubt they weren't promised anything other than your lucky we don't fire your ass.
Give Ed's girl the spot. She's f'ed up everything she has touched in patrol so get rid of her. Move her inside.As a matter of fact move the other two members of Mensa inside with her.

I was a supervisor in specialized units ( yes I had some clout to get the assignment) and I sat on these " oral interview boards" of officers wanting the assignment. When the transfer order finally came out, none of the officers who appeared before the interview were on the list and the officers on the list never came to be interviewed. It was all for show.
Geez this is some kind of sick joke.
Fixed interviews have been like this for the last 100 years.....try getting into narcotics or gang intel without help. but people should see who they are bringing in.....all I can say is the bosses always use " he / she interviews real good".
This job is in the toilet.
da fix is in , those new lietenants and merit lts do not like working a full shift in patrol division , they need that take home care sheet ,
