Only in the city of brotherly love, will they turn an asshole into a real life Steve Austin-- the six million dollar man. Yeah, spend as much tax payer dole to bring this asshole back to life. And while you at it, don't forget to buy a soda so county can get it tax money
Did they really call him an "Offender", instead of "Another Unarmed Black Man Shot by Police."
Stay Fetal, Stay Fetal, wait till Rahm comes up with a solution to this "Unacceptable" behavior by his constituents. Baby"G"
Humboldt Park?
COPA has already released their findings, and it is determined to be a bad shooting. Officers should have subdued the poor soul with verbal tactics and invited him for coffee, then set up a Go Fund Me account for him.
END OF WATCH ANNIVERSARY
31 years ago on this date 17 Oct 85, Cook County Sheriff's Police Officer Michael W Ridges #380 was fatally shot during a traffic stop of
3-M/B suspects in suburban Prospect Heights.
P.O. Ridges is the son of the late Captain John Ridges (CPD) and retired Sgt Jack Ridges (CPD).
Investigation revealed that P.O. Ridges had in fact heroically interrupted these suspects attempt to carry out a bizarre murder for hire plot orchestrated by the at-the-time, City Clerk of the City of Chicago.
Kudos again, to now retired CPD 016 Dist. P.O.'s J. Kucharski, T. Ochocki and D. Tabaka who apprehended these suspects as they fled back to the City.

Believe it or not, that area is on the path of gentrification. Already the area around 2000 North Cicero to 1800 North Cicero is gentrifying. I know an apartment owner who increased his rental prices on his studio apartments in that neighborhood. All the low lifes were chased out and then more working class folks moved in. The 015th and 011th district have ways to go before they fully gentrify. But the east end of the 011th district is quickly gentrifying. So is the east end of the 025th district. 015th district is not gentrifying at all. Trust me, I know what I am talking about.
Good job.
He'san offender if he's victimizing someone else (robbery). If it was solely an encounter with the police he would be a victim.
10 people murdered in the city over the weekend and this one gets the press ? Nice reporting. I guess they are just trying to keep the citizens informed.
So can we say that the officer " De-testical-ated" the offender with a groin shot!!!

Yes, the neverending sales pitch. Thank you for that. (I own property there and trust ME, there's a looooong way to go before they 'fully gentrify'.)
However, my point remains the same. Spin it however you may, that area is NOT 'west Humboldt Park'.
But maybe it's southwest Logan Square!
Looks like the "professional realtor" is back again. Trust me, the west side will never "fully gentrify." Anyone with half a brain realizes that. Even people with shit for brains realize that. I don't know what that says about your brain, but I won't be trusting you on west side real estate advice anytime soon.
