No Bond? No Problem
You know this guy is hoping Dart's "no cash bond" proposal comes through:
- Businessman Willie Wilson bailed 46 inmates out of the Cook County Jail Wednesday afternoon.
This isn't the first time he's stepped in to help non-violent detainees who can't make bail.
According to a spokesperson, Wilson has spent $50,000 of his own money to bail out a total of 107 people.
Wilson is also planning a Thanksgiving meal for all of the people he has helped get out of jail.
It's his money and he can do what he wants with it.
But we're curious - what's his success rate? Have all of his bets (and let's be honest, this is a gamble of sorts), made their next court dates? Have they pled out? Been convicted? Nolle Prosequi? That would be an interesting bit of data.

He bailed out a young drug addict and her family is pissed. They were hoping a little tough love would get her clean while she was inside. Instead, Willie posted bond, she went home, went out with her friends, got wasted, and is now in the wind. Lol...
And then you have this fallout.....A mother is angry and frustrated that businessman Willie Wilson bailed her daughter out of Cook County Jail.
Marcie Rotheiser said her daughter is addicted to drugs and putting her back on the streets put her in danger.

Here's a couple thoughts....
Maybe Willie Wilson wants to hire some BOUTY HUNTERS.
Dart has been running the jail like a collapsing bag.
Smaller and smaller space and less and less staff. This has led to some riots and fights in the jail with both guards and prisoners injured. Naturally the lawsuits will follow as well as IOD claims.
Dart has got to be thinking that if there were less prisoners he would have less problems. So if he can let loose more of them and empty the jail that would be great. Let them go out on the street and kill each other, not my problem.
Here is an idea, less continuances. That is part of the strategy, wear out the victim or wait until the officer fails to show up then the prisoner/defendant will be ready for trial.
He may be wrong, but at least he is trying.

at some point ol' Willie is gonna be a pavement Topsy-turvy.
I'm sure Wilson is writing off all of these expenditures on his taxes which means WE are paying for it all. We know that he ran for Mayor of Chicago. He also was a Democratic candidate for President. He actually got votes for POTUS.
He made his money through a McDonald's minority business set aside program and has owned several franchises. Any cash he's investing is in some plan (in his mind), to win a future political election.
He's trying to buy votes.
..hopefully at his own home..so he can wake up the next morning and find things missing from the house...
I would love to find out the the race of the criminals and especially the crime committed toward society that this righteous goof is letting back out to the streets to commit an even worse crime. Oh, and let's not forget where this money is coming from because this joker is a politician of sorts. He can claim it's his own money, but how many times has it been found to be funds from other places especially from us dumb ass tax payers. Even if this so called good samaritan is doing this out of his heart, I still think he would be better off helping people that really need help that do not commit crimes and strive to do the right thing every day.
One of the ones who he's bailed out is a young white woman, whose mom is now upset over because she felt her daughter should've stayed in jail, or at least stayed in detox.
That drug addicted daughter he helped release really bit him in the ass.
Regarding the addict who was bailed out. I understand Mom's anguish. But the jail is not in the business of detox and rehab. Jail is not a babysitter to give you a break from caring for your addict family member. Rehab is where addiction is treated, not jail. Stop expecting the criminal justice system to be a rehab facility.
He bailed out at least one woman who's family is pissed she got bailed out - because she's a degenerate smack addict... They're wondering how "some guy" can come along and bail someone out they're not related to.
He's no bailbondsman that the woman contracted with - just some do-gooder-mutherfucker that Dart gave a list of people to...

Nice to hear he's decided to help crime victims with the expenses of replacing lost belongings and ID and changing locks and maybe needing new glasses and dentures after an elbow in the mouth.
After all, the holidays are coming.
All i know is that the gang banger the coppers caught in my garage spent 5-6 months in jail because he couldn't post bond. If this jagoff posted bond for him he would never have spent any time in jail, because the prosecutors (without ever notifying me) let the guy out on probation for time served 5-6 months later.
Willie for Mayor, who else, Rahm, Prekwinkle, just like Trump he says what he means.
It's nice as a society we take better care and are more sympathetic towards fuckin criminals. Hey jagoff how about taking care of and feeding the old people that have nothing the families with kids who actually have nothing the victims of crimes not the offenders. What crime doesn't involve some form of pain or anguish for the victim?

Willie, remember convicted felons can't vote. So if you are following the democratic way of buying votes, make sure they ain't felons. Also, politicians don't use their own money to buy votes, they use tax payer money. I'll send you the bill for this lesson later.

Well how about this scenario..I had a stepson that got busted for theft. He had 3 warrants in different counties. He begged us to bail him out, after all it was only a $1,000 and mom always bailed him out. We said no and he learned his lesson. Never learned when mom kept bailing him out. He is a great person now.

07:03am - Sorry, but IL allows convicted felons to vote AFTER serving their sentence. Other states do not allow felons the right to vote.
Willie bailed them out of jail because the jails are overcrowded with people who can not pay their bail for "petty" crimes. This "overcrowding" leads to people in jail for violent and repeated crimes, the excuse to be let out with "early release" or some other program that does not work. It also helps police work when the serious criminals are left in jail and not free to rob and kill as they often do. I can not understand the criticism here.
