The article is the source of yesterday's post about "FOP Broadside" that took Emanuel to task for his inept management of the Department and resources that had an inordinate impact on the skyrocketing shooting/homicide numbers for 2016.
Granted, the linked article is written by New York reporters who have a vested interest in "rah-rah-ing" their town and its mayor, but they point out a lot of Rahm's missteps and lay the blame squarely where it belongs - City Hall.

This is a chilling and honest article. Stevie Wonder can see whats going on here. You can bet Imanuel does too. He wants to coddle his voter base in any way he can. The black community has to fix this and call for stiff sentences for the people shooting up their neighborhood. We should hit 700 by tomorrow. Rahm is in Rome ! This guy is a laugh a minute. Maybe he can come up with another tax to help out.

Bottom line is that New York got rid of a Democratic Mayor and replaced him with a Republican. Times have changed and tactics that could have been effective are no longer politically acceptable. Get used to the body counts as the new norm for a long time.

One thing that the local media will not admit : Daley and now Rahm have turned the police department into just another arm of their patronage/political empire. As our beloved superintendent Eddie Johnson said, " we can't arrest our way out of this", only to be followed by a comment from the NYPD, " it is your job, buddy". That tells it all. I actually heard some west side activists, educated people, some attorneys, some politicians, say they want CPD out of their neighborhoods because they feel, " over policed". They blame the CPD for the high crime rate because so many of their black and brown brothers have been arrested, now have criminal records and can't get jobs. Seems to me the cart before the horse . So, I say reduce the number of cops in these crap areas. I am sure people in decent areas would welcome more cops to protect them and I am equally sure the cops would love to move to a nicer work space. It would be a win win.

Just another disgrace rahm and the 50 plus toni in the sidecar with dart on his/her lap! Rahm your running to rome using a scheme where tax-dollars are skimmed as people are bleeding and many are dying in your blood city! Watching you stand up there saying your adore criminal activity and support criminal law breakers (sanctuary city lies) really shows you have no concerns for the honest taxpayers that are left in :murder/maim city!"
With all the federal money we are not going to be getting the total is 1.33 Billion with a "B" this money could of easily been diverted to the officers who served this city and gave up blood sweat and tears protecting the citizens. What did rahm the liar do? he took away retirees health care, never funded properly the police pensions, now the feds will have to remove the illegal invaders and you know what many of us are tired of your criminal sanctuary behavior mayor the feds in law enforcement are our Brothers and Sisters and we (many) will help in anyway possible.
Personally I am adding to the list of illegal invader locations it is our duty as American "citizens" to be sure the law is applied equally you know that mayor or wait you worked in the criminal clinton administration so you think your "above the law!" If justice is blind the law applies equally and mayor you and the 50 must do the same. Do the right thing stop violating the law with sanctuary city the game is over, you finally lost now President Trump's the game and sure can't play him!

Now he is on to rome on the taxpayers dime rahm and his crew all paid for by us! "more taxes raise the taxes" and the lemmings just pay and pay as he plays and plays!
The New York Post article is devastating for Rahm and places the blame for the homicide rate and mismanagement of the Department, squarely on him. Once again Outsiders, in this case the New York Media had the "Huevos" to call Rahm out! Nobody locally could have done it including Kass. So in an effort to stroke each other off, City Hall and our Great Investigative Journalists ignore the source of the problem. AND NOW THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE OF COLOR ARE MAIMED OR DIE! Apparently Black Lives really do NOT matter to Democrat Hacks, except at Election Time. So the Election is over, let the killing proceed. And whatever Peoples or Folks of Color survive can vote again in 2018, to reelect Rahm, the Democrat candidate. Live those Chicago/Wilmette Values, Stay Fetal! Baby"G"

Politics in this city predominate everything, can't believe this crap with blm in Mt Greenwood.
Did we go out and protest when John Knight or Mike Flisk left their homes and families to work in this city and be murdered doing their job. No we let justice take its course and mourned our loss without blocking streets carrying hate messages back into communities that we worked in or trying to paint a community as hateful because of a felon.
Letting the ghetto mentality prevail in Mt Greenwood damns any chance of minority inclusion.

They are correct. Rahm could have worked to stop the gangs but he decided not to and he will get voted out soon.

Dinkins in 1993. NYC was pushing close to 2000 homicides back in the day. He was replaced by Rudy Giuliani Republican 8 years - who was replaced by "independent" Bloomberg 8 years. Deblasio inherited a smooth running city. NYC has term limits for mayor.
