I wanted Cruz in the primary, but voted Trump in the general election. You should have helped increase Trump's popular vote number. The epic battle between the two in the primary is something I'll never forget. Cruz's speech at the RNC was great political theater, I laughed my ass off. Glad he finally came around though and that Trump won the election.
Cruz was seen in NYC leaving Trump's residence. Rumors are he might get the nod for Attorney General. Great choice by Trump if accurate.

Since Tuesday evening, I must admit I've been trying my best to manage intense periods of anger, fear, and downright hopelessness. However, I've come to realize that throughout history, once men like Donald Trump seize such incredible power, they want nothing more than to hold dominion over a population that is dejected, intimidated, and without hope. I will not give him what he wants; I will not lose hope in this great nation I've chosen to serve.
As your alderman, I want to reaffirm my pledge to do all that I can to protect and continue advocating for those residents who have the most to fear under a Trump administration.
In the weeks and months to come, I intend to work closely with our elected leaders and like-minded residents on mapping out a plan for weathering this storm and making sure that we are organized and better prepared in four years to push back against an agenda that seeks to divide, disenfranchise, and demoralize our great nation.

You got it right, Bro or Sis -- the national projections just popped IL "blue," and that was that. When they zoomed in on IL, you could see just the usual; Cook County, college towns, etc. blue and all the workin/huntin/salt-of-the-earth areas -- 90% of the state -- red.
Indiana was even more unmistakable. Not many Hillary fans down by Oolitic, Ind. -- "the former resting place of the Empire State Building." Quarries, people.

Trump to skip Illinois in planned victory tour
CHICAGO - Despite being home to a Trump Tower, Illinois was not a state that Donald Trump won last Tuesday, so a victory tour planned after Thanksgiving will probably not include the only blue Midwestern state.
George Gigicos, the Trump campaign's advance team director, told reporters Thursday that groundwork is being done for the president-elect's first trip.
"We're working on a victory tour now. It will happen in the next couple of weeks," Gigicos said at Trump Tower.
Asked where Trump would go, Gigicos responded: "Obviously to the states that we won and the swing states we flipped over," The Hill is reporting.
Trump supporters will have the option of visiting any bordering state as one where the President-elect could drop in, being Trump won in all of surrounding states.

Here is a little something that should make every MG resident go "hmmmm!?" On sunday the 20th BLM will be holding a "peace march" in MG. Im sure this is by the blessings of Special Ed, our alderman M. Oshea and 1 of the MBL activists in their little secret meetings. This "peace march" includes a lunch being sponsored thru St. Christina church and will be either held at St Christina or the Ag School. So who besides myself reading this thinks a peace march is unnecessary since it seems that MG was already peaceful until an Indiana resident pointed a gun at the police? This so called luncheon being sponsored by St Christina that is being served to the BLM supporters is a slap in the face to every police officer in the city of Chicago and their families, every girl that was expelled from Marist HS and every hard working parent who spends their hard earned money to send their child to St Christina. So when will St Christina have Fr Pflafer do sunday services? As for Alderman M O'Shea, why not have a cookout at YOUR house for BLM? You seem to forget that you are elected official and just like you have been voted in, you can also be voted out. Special Ed? Each time there is a protest it makes me wonder which side of the street he will be found standing on. Will he be standing with the officers of CPD or will he be there protesting, showing support for his new found friends at BLM? The hardworking men and women of CPD have zero confidence in him as he has time and again turned his back on officers. This shit just keeps getting better and better. The superintendent, the alderman and St Christana sponsored lucheon for BLM is an insult to every officer in this city! Did they forget that BLM and their supporters had made terroristic threats to kill police or kidnap and torture their family members or any police supporter(s) in MG. Hope Special Ed, M O'shea and the brain behind the St Christina sponsored lunch for BLM are all proud of themselves! Personally im fuckin sickened by it.
