I saw these earlier(actually about 10 minutes ago) and thought "obviously". But, not being a cop, I'm reserving judgment. If officers can't find a gun he supposedly pointed twice I believe that warrants some scepticism(for lack of a better word at the moment). Just being completely honest. Not taking this guys side, but I can't take police officers account as gospel yet either(I DONT believe the cop just set out to "murder" the guy though either).

Let me say this.....I personally have seen people pick up gun casing after a gang member fired a gun at someone. I have seen people mess with crime scene before all the police arrived. I am not anticop either so I do believe he had a gun, threw it down in front of someone who picked it up. This is what people do in Englewood. Had I not seen this type of behavior with my own eyes I might not have believed it either.

Sure. Anything is possible. It could also be a possibility that there never was a gun, because I understand a thousand things are going through an officers mind when he/she believes someone has a firearm. Like I said I'm not a cop. I made it very clear I'm reserving judgment and not taking a side. Times are sure different than 20-30 years ago. Why on earth is anyone "proactive" at this time of anti-police sentiment? Most likely, the offender had a gun. Even if he didn't, a reasonably objective LEO would have made the same decision to fire his weapon given the same circumstances. You just have to convince a jury that your actions were reasonably objective, from your seat at the defense table. I don't what to be sitting at that table, and neither should you.

I'm not the one who is willfully ignorant. It's obvious to anyone that has at least third grade reading skills that this is an ugly situation.
But those of us that are not willfully ignorant about how things unfold on the street AND how the media always portrays us in the worst possible light will wait until all the FACTS come in before passing judgement.
And before you beat your chest and add that the Sgt has been stripped know this. That doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the grand scenario. The city can strip him and not be held liable for any damage to him if they clear him later. But you, as not a cop, probably don't know that.
I find it interesting that you describe yourself as not a cop. When people ask you what you do for a living is that your answer? Do you do anything for a living? Or do you just live in a basement and think you have meaningful opinions on other people's professions?

Paper said that although he was not currently enrolled in any school , he wanted to get his GED and one day become a Veterinarian . I didn't realize you could become a vet with a GED. Family says that he loved animals. With all the guns he has in his hands on social media, he could definitely euthanize a few horses. There is no emphasis placed on graduating from, grammar school, High School or collage. There is no expectation that you obey the law and the police. There is a high expectation that you will sell/use drugs,join a gang and be a habitual criminal. What could possibly go WRONG.
