- Too funny not to share: Last night my friend got a call at the station. The caller was very distraught that Trump would pick a guy named Mad Dog for Secretary of defense. Dead serious. The officer had to explain that it was a nick name, not his real name. This woman from Hyde Park actually called the police! Lol
Anyone have the event number on this call?

If true, goes to show how fucked up in the head the liberals are. But they believe themselves to be superior to others to run the nation and tell others what they should do in life. I only wish more liberals took advantage of the services of Planned Parenthood, the U.S. would be a better place without them.

In my loooog career with the Chicago police Department I must have know at least three police officers with the nickname of "Mad Dog".
None ever rose in rank and they might have earned that sobriquet by over aggressiveness. You wouldn't want them to write a report for you but in a fight you would want them at your back.

Lower standards? They can't get much lower in my professional opinion.The reports I've seen written by cops today look like something a person in 5th grade might write. It's a sad reflection of schools today. It doesn't matter if they went to public or parochial school. Speaking is a problem, nobody understands verb usage nor do they know how to correctly pronounce words that begin with the letter "t".
To have earned the nickname "mad dog" in the armed forces is a high honor. Those who never wore the uniform and took the oath can never understand it.
Few years back a person wrote to our local paper that there would not be so many deer killed if the county took down the Deer Crossing signs as most of the deer killed where the signs were. Said the deer were crossing because of the signs. I never knew deer could read.
Another "activist" complained our local paper was biased (as in racist) because the term black bear was used on bears knocking over bird feeders and garbage cans. Wanted the term white or brown bear used. There are no polar or grizzly bears in Florida, the paper wrote in reply, and the activist still complained.
