Special Ed's Car

Is this true?
  • All this is great to hear. However, what made me smile the most today, was hearing that Special Ed's unmarked police SUV was broken into while parked right in front of his crib.

His hat with shield was rumored to be in the car and left put by the offender(s). But now for the $100,000 question...

What WAS taken from the vehicle? Anyone over at 277 care to enlighten the readers here at SCC?
The rumor we heard was that the only existing copy of the IAD investigation into Wheezie, Mrs. Wysinger and others, WITH DISCIPLINARY RECOMMENDATIONS ATTACHED, was taken. No other copies are known to exist. An unconfirmed report had a recently retired exempt leaving the area.

UPDATE: We guess it's true:
  • Police are stepping up patrols in the Bridgeport neighborhood after someone broke into Chicago Police Supt Eddie Johnson’s unmarked SUV.

It was discovered Saturday morning when officers went to Johnson’s home to pick him up. “They noticed the interior of the car was in disarray,’’ said [...], head spokesman for the Chicago Police.

Though items from the glove box were tossed about, no weapons were inside the city-assigned SUV and it didn’t look like anything was taken. The SUV, which had nothing confidential or valuable inside, was not damaged....

Police said it's likely either a door was accidentally left unlocked after returning from a security detail Friday night, or the locks malfunctioned.
We stand by the previous report of the only copy of the test scandal CR investigation is still missing.

If the rumor about that "report" missing from Special Ed's car is true one cannot help but say to themselves: Hmmmm ... that's very interesting.

Again, if it is true, at least Special Ed can't say his dog ate the report. Well, maybe he can - and our intrepid investigative "journalists" would buy into that story - no questions asked.

Nothing to see here folks. Move along.

Yeah, ok. Sure. Whatever.

* An ET responded and gave the vehicle 'The Deluxe'.
* Dicks canvassed the area like they do after shootings and Homeycides.
* New Affairs on scene.
* Nearby surveillance systems checked to see if anything of value was captured.
* Stepped-up patrols courtesy of the 009th District.
* And surely a Special (Ed) Attention until further notice.

All for a CTTV minimum, Theft From Vehicle max?

I call bullshit. They ain't blowing through these many resources because 'The Kidney' forgot to lock his doors and "nothing" went missing from his city provided whip. And how preposterous to say the door lock may have malfunctioned leaving a single door unlocked?! On a brand new vehicle? Hell. Fucking. No.

Can the ET who took the pix verify if there was damage/paint transfer to the front of this SUV from when the Stupidintendent drove through the gate at Fort Fellatio a couple weeks ago? What's that? You say you haven't heard about that yet?

Huh?

So Ed had the investigation findings and
disciplinary recommendations stolen from
his own vehicle?

If there were actually any modicum
of integrity, that report would have been
under lock, key and heavy guard.

How many are going to benefit from the
sole copy of these findings growing legs
and walking away?

Actually, We don't think Well Fed Ed is
smart enough to facilitate thus in this manner.

Maybe Rahm or one of his propeller-heads
came up with this?

Either very cute, or very stupid...

This is the shit you get when the
clouted morally bereft, integrity challenged
and intellectually disinterested are shot up
the ladder to critical oversight and policy
making positions within the department because
they pledged to protect their political sponsors
from criminal investigations.

Which is why the unclouted blueshirt has
an unquenchable blood lust for the Feds
to come in and hang every dirty and corrupt
clouted ass at HQ and City Hall after a "thorough
investigation and a fair trial."

...After all,
it's FINALLY their turn, right?

Seeing as how enough Policemen
have been/are being lynched to
appease the mob.

If that was any other officer, he would received a SPAR, No Media attention, No stepped up Patrols. They would write an article in the Daily Bulletin that will State, did you know when operating a Department / City Owned Vehicle officers are reminded by General Order that they are physically secure that vehicle. Failure to comply with thus order and the officer will face Disciplinary Action. To be read at Roll Call for the next 7 days.

19-Edward, now turn the other cheek Special Ed. Don't step up the patrol, instead de-escalate the situation and remain professional. It's only a vehicle. We are going to investigate this to the fullest and if it takes us there, we're going to go there. As for right now I have more questions than answers." -Special Ed.

The door was unlocked...

The locks ummm, malfunctioned...

There was a flood. An earthquake. A plague of locust... my Tux didn't come back from the cleaners.... it wasn't my fault! (apologies to The Blues Brothers).

Seriously, only in the once great City of Chicago, now transformed through decades of Democratic Rule into the Shitty of Chiraq, could the vehicle of the POLICE SUPERINTENDENT get robbed!

Seriously, in most cities, criminals KNOW who the cops are - marked and unmarked cars. They know where the cops live. And by and large, they don't fuck with their shit because they know "it'd be bad". There's easier pickings, with much less drama, and physical trauma when caught. Less chance of jail, and so on.

But in Chiraq? With the Revolving Door BLM Justice Center in charge? Sheeeeet, ain't no big thang! Ain nuffin gonna happen. Cops can't chase ya. Cops can't beat ya with a stick no mo. Cops can't cuff yo ass up wiffout gibin ya'll a receipt wit der name on it and den fillin out a 900 page report. No one sees nuffin' cause snitches get stitches! We be running up in dis her bitch!

So it's no wonder he got robbed. This Once Great City, and Once Great State are done. Kaput. Finito! Over $250 BILLION in bills, $72 billion in assets, and $35 billion a year in revenue- so even if you sold EVERYTHING, and took all the money you bring in for a few years and put it to the bills - you're still fucked! Can't do anything. Can't ever catch up. Bankruptcy is the only way out but that doesn't get you elected, so you keep borrowing and digging that hole deeper.

I'm done. My family's done. The climate's not that bad, but the politicians are stripping us down to the bones - work our asses off, can't save anything, and the bills keep going up so they can redistribute our money to the Gib Me Dat crew members. Fuck it. Looking for a job out of State. Selling the house. Selling the side businesses. Picking up, moving, and never looking back. And that's a really sad, sad thing - we've been here 5 generations.

Thanks for nothing Democrats.

5/01/2017 06:28:00 PM

It's not a "security detail." This is a time honored and antiquated perk that politicians, especially cabinet members get. The original theory behind it was so if the vehicle the commissioner was in was involved in an accident, the driver would take the steam and have to appear in subsequent court proceedings, not the commissioner because they were department heads and too "valuable" to lose time going to court. That's the excuse they always gave. Simply ridiculous.

With 148 comments, this story has to be one
of the top SSC articles. Anyone ever consider it
was a diversion to distract from cheating scandal,
other corruption? Rahm, Dart, and now Special Ed
are like Mafia heads: 24/7 internal security.
Was the "crib reveal" a violation of Homeland Security?
If so, don't worry. Rahm will give him an empty "crib car",
but then again, that's like the dog chasing his tail: it's a marker.

I wonder if this was a full-on investigation.
Was the vehicle dusted for prints (they still do
that, right?). Was something embarrassing found
inside? Or maybe CityHall was sending a message
to dear old Ed. (Car guys in the can brag about "Gone in
60 seconds", then say "I timed myself; I finished in 45.")
The Dart Technical School certainly has plenty of candidates
pending or actually released who could have done this.
Is this Dart's power play for the Mayor job? Dirty deeds done
dirt cheap. Never let a crisis go to waste. Remember, Rahm was
real close to Mr. AC/DC himself.
