Kind of Ironic

The Police Recognition Luncheon was held today. Someone recognized police cars in a not-so-nice way during the event:
  • One person was arrested after smashing the windows of several Chicago police cars as officers attended an awards ceremony in the Loop on Friday afternoon, police said.

It happened on Lower Wacker Drive near Stetson Avenue, where the cars were parked, police said.

As the officers were inside the Hyatt Regency Chicago for the annual recognition ceremony, the suspect used a bat or bricks to demolish the front and rear windshields of one marked car and about six unmarked cars, police said.
It's so nice to be appreciated.

Chicago on the verge of anarchy.
Just look at the leadership.
Shoot to kill/maim Daley vs. Sanctuary Emanuel.
Things were better back then because the CPD
ran the city and the criminals knew it.

Just waiting for the day when a squad gets carjacked
at gunpoint. They seem to have no fear. Something
tells me this anger and behavior is not drug fueled.
It's organic, it's growing, and the answer seems to be
a zero sum game. It will only stop when all the hijackers
are shot one-by-one. That's the way wars usually end.

Offender in custody not yet charged. To those involved, this offender will sue you for false arrest after the Northwestern Innocence Project determines he din du nuffin and he will be awarded millions by the City. So write this up as damage to property non criminal as the vehicles were damaged by concrete chunks falling from the ceiling of the aging infrastructure of lower Wacker. You will help kill crime and avoid the hassle of going to court and getting sued. Yea that's the ticket!

Must have been bricks. Bats are not offensive weapons, totally harmless and incapable of busting out windows on cars or even human heads...

We'll start working on licensing bricks. Restricting purchases to one brick a year. Proper training will be required too. And no one needs a large brick - small bricks except for federally licensed brick masons. That'll fix this whole issue tootsweet!

They interviewed Lie-tenant Maryet Hall about it, and she acted like everything was just fine and dandy because the offender has mental issues. The same smiling dismissal of extensive property damage came from two other "NOBLE" bosses that were interviewed by their damaged vehicles. They talked about how it didn't bother them and that the person had mental difficulties. This mental specifically targeted police vehicles, and destroyed them with chunks of concrete or some other object that could easily be used as a weapon. What would've happened if an officer confronted this offender while he was committing his crimes? An armed mental who obviously doesn't like the police could easily turn his aggression toward anyone who confronts him. But let's just pretend he's some poor guy having mental difficulties, not the dangerous, armed criminal that he is. Not one single description of this person was even hinted at in the news story. At least we all know what that means. Shouldn't the public be made aware of a dangerous individual like this roaming around the supposedly nice area of the city, armed with a weapon, causing property damage? Isn't it highly likely this isn't the first time he's committed some crime due to his mental illness, or hatred for the police, or drug use, etc.? Isn't it just as likely that he'll do this or something similar again? Does his mental illness excuse him from all responsibility and magically make him not dangerous? Great reporting and great job by our "NOBLE" leaders to make this whole incident seem like nothing happened. Let's all hope his mental illness keeps him off the streets for a while. Wait, that doesn't happen. He's probably already back out there committing more crimes.

One can see the stressors which trigger a mental health crisis. You see the Russian collusion thing bombed out. The economy is rising up, people of color are finally getting those Joe Biden high tech jobs of the 21st Century and peace in the Korean Peninsula may result in this President getting a Nobel Prize for diplomatic actions not academic feel good participation trophy highlighting wordy platitudes like the last guy.

I would act-up against authority because prosperity, peace and a renewed pride in one's Country are very stressful and problematic. Who knows, the perpetrator may be responding to the bombardment of negative conditioned media falsehoods, fake news or indoctrinations against the police.

Or this may be a lone wolf jihad against police inspired by the hate groups doing business as the d.o.j., the aclu, blm and the many George Soros funded groups. Be safe out there and Make America Great Again!

Seven squad cars were hit multiple times. Six of them belonged to unit 111 (Office of the Supt) and one was a district car. This all happened directly behind the Mayors car (with driver) and the Supts car (with driver). The case report was originally classified as "Non-Criminal Damage to Vehicle" but was later changed. No reason to write a report for CDP. That would increase the crime rate.
Make it an accidental damage from unknown debris. Officers were driving in on the expressway when a truck ahead "kicked up" unknown debris damaging the windshields on 7 police vehicles.
It's then the fault of the state too for allowing debris on expressways.

If he had vacated the mayor's car to stop the offender, he would soon be reassigned for a lack of proper prioritizing. Did he at least notify OEMC of a CDTP in progress? Divulging 9.5's location is a big no-no. Their rules are not our rules. The detail only has two rules. Their rule #1 states TD 9.5 is the first priority, at all times. Their Rule #2 states if there is ever a question about priorities, see Rule #1.

It's 30+ years past "protesting" having any effect whatsoever.

That's because 3+ generations of breeding hate into the "community", the "constuency", the "peoples of color", the "progressive/regressive mentally ill", the "rabid revolting revolutionaries", and the like, has produced the intended result: a multitude of attitude juked, puppets jerked off and jizzed on by the puppeteer political panderers, aka, the fucking Democrats.

As for that "majority of citizens", whatever that means to you, the fact is that all of the factors you propose to be reasons for the absence of visible support are truly feeble, at best.

The true reason for everyone NOT a criminal to support law enforcement is that IS supporting your OWN self interests, like not being the victim of crimes.

A list of ways these purported majority of citizens could visibly and effectively support those who enforce the laws, (the laws which deter, impede, obstruct, reduce, actually effect by disruption, the criminals' opportunities to commit violent criminal acts, and/or criminal acts which, by their nature, are imbued with great potential to violence), can be provided, as they have been routinely provided, by the many who know what needs to be done. And how it can be done, were these "majority of" truly supportive of those who enforce the laws.

Too busy to act in their own, vital self interest?

You can pull your own finger on that one.
