- Sixteen people were shot, three fatally, in shootings across the city Tuesday. Two teens were among those killed and one other was wounded, according to Chicago Police.
A 15-year-old girl was the youngest person killed Tuesday. She was fatally shot while sitting on a front porch in the South Side Englewood neighborhood, police said.

Can't be true. Crime must be down. Ed was in the media bragging about the 100 rifles recovered so far this year. Ed leaves out a few facts that the lame media doesn't press him on. First how may of the recoveries involve felony gun charges (the sound of silence). Second how many of the arrests lead to penitentiary time (again the sound of silence). Third how about asking how many are "turn-ins"?
