The black political structure is abandoning Rahm....or the stink of Rahm:
- Lori Lightfoot resigned Monday as head of the Chicago Police Board, a move that brings her a step closer to launching a bid to unseat Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who appointed her to lead the board.
In a letter to Emanuel, Lightfoot didn’t explain why she was stepping down effective immediately, but said she would continue her “efforts to be a passionate advocate for issues that are critical to uplifting the quality of life for all Chicagoans.”
Lightfoot has been a key appointee of Emanuel’s on police oversight and reform issues but has used that high-profile platform to try to establish her independence from the mayor by criticizing some of his moves.
This after Fairley resigned from COPA-cabana to run for Lisa Madigan's spot, so no black female wants even a hint of being answerable to Rahm lately.

I recieved a political survey phone call at home and they really wanted to talk with my wife on the up coming Mayoral Race.
They asked a several questions, I realized that most of the questions focused on how likely would you vote for and if the only two candidates were Rahm Emanuel and Lori Lightfoot.
It was pretty apparent that Lori Lightfoot is testing the waters and she's going to make an announcement to run for Mayor. The surveyor would then give her biography and what she stands for and blah, blah, blah. If she announced a resignation then she a step closer.
I was also able to detect that the caller was getting frustrated with my answers since my first choice would be Paul Vallas, second choice was Gary McCarthy, third choice was to not vote at all and let the City burn.
Priority #1, with the of City of Chicago in my opinion is Crime. The Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the State Attorney Kimmie Foxx, the Cook County Chief Judge Timothy Evan's, the Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle all have blood on their hands for watching the known criminal that the Chicago Police Department is apprehending escape accountability for their actions that are directly destabilizing all communities across the city.
The second problem is the ramming of the sword through the lower torso via taxing of the middle class citizens is out of control. We are being stabbed by the first layer of taxes from the Mayor and his 50 Aldermanic Thieves, then the sword is driven further innereard with a second layer of taxes by the County board President, then the sword continues its forward motion puncturing vital organs with the third layer of taxes from the State Government and finally the sword crushes muscle and bone for a clear through and through fourth layer of federal taxes. If anything I believe it proves the opposite, and she knows full well they will be voting to fire him. As such, her vote will not be necessary. The ComEd employee does not cast her vote, and with Lightfoot gone there would be 7 remaining. Rialmo's fate had been decided a long time ago.
Do you believe she'd leave the police board knowing it's a loss? I'd say a failure to fire Rialmo would be a HUGE embarrassment for Lightfoot.

Let me explain something to everyone, here is some inside insight on Lightfoot. When she was the Administrator in Charge at OPS SHE WAS HATED. She treated everyone terribly. Many believed that she thought she was better than everyone there because she was a attorney. She had a chip on her shoulder because she was a lesbian. She was especially hated by many of the Black Female Investigators. This was especially true with the good looking female Investigators. She harassed then constantly. She made life hell for one good looking Spanish Investigator because she turned down her advances. There were 4/5 lesbians working there. She promoted a couple of lesbians to supervisors. This did not go over very well with many of the investigators.
She was also VERY LAZY. She loved to shop and did so often. She let the running of the agency to her two top administrators. She came in late and left early. She had the ear of only a handful of Investigators. One white male Investigator in particular was her pet. She secretly conferred with him on many occasions up to just recently. There were several controversial shooting while she was in charge and went along with her top administrators opinion. It would be very interesting if she got elected Mayor, very interesting indeed.

And, she is an atheist. It will be interesting to see if she campaigns at any religious institutions and/or services. If she crosses the threshold of a church, synagogue, temple or mosque, she will burst into flames!
By the time this police hater finishes her first term, Chicago Police Officers will be disarmed and will be like the City of London police, having to call special armed teams or having their guns secured in a roving car. If I was a Chicago Police Officer (and I am not, I am a former Chicago Citizen), I would be making contigency plans for a job and household relocation if she wins.

Also Bridget Gainer came in at 5%. Like him or not McCarthy will be in a runoff with Rahm. The Greeks dumped Vallas and are supporting GMAC.
True story. My late father died at 90 year of age. If he lived, he would be 107 yoa. He resided in my household in the 23 rd. ward.
A couple years ago I asked one of the Judges sitting in the poll place if my father came in and voted yet. She tells me that she always remembers him from being one of the first to vote when they open. There was line through his name as he already voted.
I once beefed about it 10 years ago, Orr' office could care less if the dead voted. He was a stone democrat and would never vote of anyone outside the party, he did what the b.s unions told their members, and always voted for the slime demo-rats. Maybe the rats were good post 1960, but they became the new commie party of today. All fuckin loses. After voted last time I took a receipt on his headstone.

What poll? Haven't seen any, and although I know the Emanuel folk have been polling, they won't release any numbers externally, as it's looking quite bleak for the little tenderfoot.

Trib article outlines Lightfoot's political positions, and they're all entitlement-related molly-coddling of criminals (poor brother, only has HS education and criminal record, as if there's no willful choice made there) who need MORE entitlements, lots of "poor black neighborhoods need MORE entitlements" without recognition that these neighborhoods already receive a far disproportionate degree of city services and police protection without chipping-in their fair-share of the COSTS of those municipal services. And lots not forget the LGBT angle, where Democrats are far more concerned about the toilet-rights of trans-youth than the murder-rate amongst young black youth in general. Poverty-based economic manipulation. Lightfoot is the beneficiary of so many entitlement programs (let's give a shout-out for full-ride for elite law school degree!) and partnership at a white-shoe big-shot downtown law firm (another shout-out for that 7-figure salary!).

So what if we do drop from 800 to 600 homicides. 600 may mean less gang bangers and more innocent people getting shot. Even a decade ago and definitely 2 decades ago, it was unheard of to see police, judges, tourists, teachers, elderly, disabled, and small children shot in the same year or 2. This tells you how this new system labels criminals as victims.

Well, mister exageration, since you fancy yourself knowledgable, historically speaking, post the breakdowns of the victims of murder you merely quantified.

The medical field made great advancements in the ER work of saving shooting victims. If we had 4000 people shot back in the 1990's we would have easily of had over 2000 homocides. So, even if the numbers in the 90's are higher, today we still have more people shot and the only reason they are staying alive is because of the advancement of medicine. So, lets compare apples to apples and come back with you wise response about the higher numbers in the 1990's.
Lightfoot was interviewed on ABC7 this morning. Sob story, about growing up in a segregated city in Ohio, living with a deaf father.
Then my computer froze.
In an article, she bitched G. McCarthy out..actually, she bitched-out Rahm for hiring him.
McCarthy basically said, if she's elected, CPD is going to have a difficult time.
She called McCarthy “a guy [who] still sincerely believes that stop-and-frisk, stopping everything that moves without legal justification, without meeting the constitutional restrictions is appropriate.” She noted that “a consent decree followed his tenure in Newark” and will soon follow his tenure in Chicago.
McCarthy was asked what he believes would happen to proactive policing in Chicago if Lightfoot were elected mayor.
She has argued the police contract “codifies the code of silence” and needs to be changed to make it easier to discipline wayward officers.
“You’d have to go and ask them. But I can tell you this: They know that nobody’s got their back today,” McCarthy said.
Hopefully, she doesn't win.

I take it you are a doctor in emergency medicine making all the predictions on survival rates. I respect your knowledge because you are an expert in the medical field. Doctors weren’t good then including the many that served in the military in Viet Nam in the 70’s that had more battlefield experience dealing with gunshots Really no sense discussing it, no way to prove it one way or another.
Recently,I did get a call once of 3 shot to death in a house. Rushed them to the hospital and because of advancement in medicine, the doctors brought two of the three back to life
