Anti Violence March Turns....Violent?

- Agony could be seen on a mother’s face after her daughter was shot and killed, becoming another victim of gun violence in Chicago. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to her killer.
CBS 2’s Audrina Bigos reports the 21-year-old girl had no gang affiliations and was not known to police, yet another mother is in agony and tears after her daughter was murdered.
What started as a peaceful vigil for Oceana Jones quickly turned to chaos.
Guess who was in attendance?
- Father Michael Pfleger of St. Sabina Church stated, “We’re shooting each other over nothing like cowards. That’s all they are is cowards, shooting down the block as someone’s running for their life because they’re scared.”
We could say the same thing about false priests that refuse to march on the dope corners that ravage neighborhoods and contribute to the murder innocent young women.
- The march turned into a street brawl when the crowd was confronted.
Latricia Jones, the victim’s cousin, said, “They wouldn’t let us through, they walked up to the crowd. And that’s when it started. They ambushed us.”
Ambush? That's a loaded word. It implies territory and violations of borders.
- Police say when the marchers crossed over Ashland in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, they entered into another gang’s territory and that’s when the confrontation started.
A motive is unknown at this time.
Um, you might want to re-read that last statement reporter lady....and the one before it. They violated territorial borders - that's a no-no in the hood. You know, the hood where the pfony pfather and his pflock expect cops to walk foot posts to tamp down violence, then piss and moan when cops locate someone ready for violence and end up in a fight for their lives. When can we expect the praise due to officers doing a good job?

They realize this isn’t looking good, so they start to run. The four males give chase, and then shoot and kill the 21yr old woman. Then, at the vigil for the victim, an altercation breaks out between two groups. The victims, the offenders, and the opposing groups who fought are all black (with the exception of the pfake rev). So, who wants to have that “uncomfortable” discussion about race? Eric Holder, are you ready yet? Jesse? How about Father Rachel Dolezal Pfaker? We know he’s a “punk coward”, to paraphrase himself. Hey Rev. Livingston, maybe you should shut down S Ashland Av instead.

Not a Pfleger fan but again I don't know why our memories are so short. They used to march like crazy on the southside in those neighborhoods, especially Roseland. One of the criticisms at the time was all the marches don't change anything. Now no one remembers those marches!?!? Not even trying hard I remember a "peace march" for Amari Brown, the 7 yr old kid who got shot while they were aiming for his father. Marches are nothing new and the ones in the hood were actually a bit played out.

It's not fear of change, it is akin to the sailor, having become accustomed to constant, random, chaotic imbalance, finds the thought of steady, constant calm to be disturbing.
Imagine having become a kind of comfortable being a ping pong ball in the bingo cage as it spins. That is your constant, chaos, and your continuing adjusting to it.
Then imagine the reluctance of being that ping pong ball sitting in total stillness, gazing up into the vastness of the night sky, the calm of nature's myriad sounds almost as soothing as a mother's heartbeat to the infant yet to be born.
To one adapted to this big titty chaos, that would be like suggesting the cougar no longer needs to hunt, the hawk no longer needs to fly, the stallion no longer needs to run, the dolphin no longer needs to swim, etc. A tough sell, indeed.
Like the shark, some are just naturally inclined to have to keep moving or die.
Like the so called ADD kids, more is not ever enough, nor ever too much.
For some, life beckons action. And lots of it. Even with the bitching about that commonly is really about the fucking restraints put upon that action.
When one craves the peaceful calm environment, one will seek it, find it and be there. Until then, let the fucking bodies hit the floor!!!!
