This is why no one likes multiple "merit" idiots:
- OT: Capt. D. Harris is in 015 the other day and follows a po around who was down on rifle training. Upon return he had to switch cars due to bad breaks, thus move his gear from one vehicle to another. The Capt. complains to the 3rd watch Lt, wondering why he was moving bags around from squad car to squad car, and then questions of the officer is a “Dope Dealer.” The Officer got wind of what the captain said and obtained a CR# on the captain. That kind of ignorant statement can ruin a solid career. I’m glad that the officer is holding his feet to the fire. Now inspectors are in 015 for retaliation.
This is the guy who promised to have the blog shut down while he was at Media Affairs.
You'd think a guy who couldn't get along with Escamerit would have had some sort of fan base in 025, but ol' Dave alienated everyone there (like he did at Media Affairs) as badly as Tony, all while bad-mouthing Tony eight days a week. No wonder Dave got shifted to the the inspectors. This gruesome two-some ruined 025 for many years to come. Hopefully the officer gets a sizable damage award.

How do you obtain a CR on a capt? Or any other white shirt? Do you have to go to the next rank?
He's a fool. He was in my district a few weeks ago and gigged a couple of guys for not clearing from a gas run. He even GPS'd them. The funny thing is, they went right back to their beat...and stayed there the rest of their tour!! That said, beware. He's pissed off that his self-entitled ass hasn't been named commander yet, so he's out to fuck any and everyone in his path!
This guy is all about himself. He would duck out early in tru and not tell his team. When his team needed a supervisor he was nowhere to be found. Nothing but his stupid smirk.

Another merit hack POS, who is happy to tell you how great he is.
He wrote up 2 POs in 019 for staying on a burglary job for over an hour.
He never rode on the job or met with a supervisor on scene.
Real story, Alarm went off because of broken pipes. POs contact the owner,
who is an hour away, and wait for him to return. They entered the the house and
turned off the water and kept the water damage to a minimum. Citizen wrote a
Complimentary letter for the extra effort of the POs. There is a reason no one wants
you as their XO.
Can you imagine what CPD could be if their bosses weren't such jerks?

He also has one or two cr numbers going from a school incident where the person working security had the street blacked off and he insisted on going through, you know who I am routine. I think he ended up hitting the security guard who pulled the number. As usual, nothing happened.

You forget, he was assigned to 006 and went to New Affairs. He got DUMPED from News Affairs because of his incompetence and showing up to a meeting or press conference in a white suit, looking like a pimp.
After that, he tried to pull strings a got EJ to give him a spot in gangs. He was literally picking out his locker when McCarthy's Chief of Staff called him furious. He was told he would be lucky to end up in 015 which he did.
Once back in 015,he thought people would respect him and kiss his ass. Unfortunately for him, everyone stayed as far away from him as possible and even his fellow Lt's wanted nothing to do with him. So with having no friends, he left for somewhere so one knew him.
He was promoted because of Babs, that should explain it all. And, the CPD way! Get dumped for incompetence so we'll promote you.

His response was great, they’re down on e-learning. Sir Thomas Lemmer wants explanations as to why cars are downed or excused..... this should be interesting

Obtaining a CR# on a supervisors does not require you to go through your chain of command. I don’t recommend filing it in-house because another supervisor may manipulate the initiation report.You can go straight to COPA and obtain a log number. COPA will forward it to IAD or the EEOC.
You can file on line, over the phone or in person. IAD is suppose to handle it to prevent your unit’s CR# sergeant from being influenced by your Lt. and Commander. However, once the log number makes it to IAD, your Lt., Commander, Deputy and everyone else secretly contacts the investigator in an attempt to save the supervisor. The investigation usually turn on the officer who filed the beef and the IAD Investigators and Advocates will find ways to write the supervisor out of the number.
Always FOIA all CR related documents and hold the department accountable.
The Captain is bitter. He needs EAP.
BUT on a more positive note. Everyone that made a traffic stop during the Polar Vortex and boosted 015 3rd watch blue card stats got an Honorable Mention from LT.
Whatever happened to the 3 rules of being the police? Something along the lines of cold, wet, and hungry? Probably doesn't help that the watch is loaded with PPOs that desperately want to stay on 3rd.

Compstat / Inspectors are more concerned about officers hitting the onscene button, and wondering how an officer obtained 3 pci’s in less than a minute. Rather than focus on their attention on police suicides and work related stress. But, they’ll keep coming to gig you for that beat tag that the department is suppose to proved you. Ridiculous! DH embodies all of this selfishness displayed by up above. Are any inspectors sent over see if the ET Division is squared away, and leaving at the appropriate times?

These bosses would call in the Inspectors to their office and YELL at them to get THE FUCK OUT OF MY DISTRICT....I heard it on several occasions....These bosses really would stand up for us and we for them.......
The only thing in 025 that was larger than Escamerit's ego was Dave Harris' ego. Its no wonder they couldn't get along. Theres only room for one i'm the coolest guy I know in the building.

Finally, Anita Alvarez threw him out of his office and told him if he showed back up she was calling HQ. It was hysterical watching him get humbled while trying to turn a tragedy into a positive for himself

So true brother. In the old days of rotating 99 percent of the guys stayed with the bosses and rotated. Not many liked 2nd. watch, today copper' kill for it. If inspectors started to hit the district and looking for b.s heads, they inspector was called into station and the W/C, Capt or Lt mother fucked them and they fled.
From what I heard, the inspectors of old were mostly decent guys. Got their heads and would not be seen for ages. In all my former years otj, I encountered my first inspector as a dick. Terry McMann, he was gated and was told to talk to me by headquarters for not wearing a vest in a shoot out. My bosses were no fools and I needed the wake up call. Terry treated me like gold and I showed him the respect of his office. And Yes, I had the vest on after coming back to work after 4 days and seeing the EAP shrink. LOL. I know what people thought of the bird, he was not liked. I always had a horseshoe up my ass and left the job without and noted injuries. Heart stents yes, from eating like a rabid dog.
All you poor souls on the streets cannot catch your breath from all the stress by J.O bosses throw at you every work day. From what I have hear and read here, you guys have leaders that have no souls and would fuck you in a New York second. Stooge Ed loaded the ranks with flakes and they will be around for at least 15 years. Keep your health guys and gals, you are in better shape then us old baby boomer copper'. Again lies, if you actually had a kid at the school you would know that security guard is bat shit crazy, has verbally gotten into it for no reason with several parents (many who are PO’s) and was not even at the school for a good week or so because he was in a mental health treatment facility. Those are facts, nothing but the best for Chicago Public Schools. The police hating principal was all involved in it and made it what it wasn’t. I wouldn’t have commented, but legit that security guard has some screws loose. Ever see him in full sprints one end of a block to another to put his precious traffic cones in place? Nah on this one.

Commander won't do anything because he's the fuck face who brought him into the district. He came into roll call telling us how we need to fix our uniforms up when he himself was out of uniform.
EC is awful. He denies everybody from trying to leave the district, denies every new capt they try to send to 015, and fucks with all the watches. 015 used to be a great place to work, but not with this asshole in control of things.

This same security guard around the same time frame got into with a Lt, swearing at the Lt and going nuts in front of the Lt’s kid and other parents and kids. Not to mention all the other parents he’s gotten into it with. Over what.....parking? That school has no parking to speak of and tons of people park however they can. How do I know about any of this? My kid goes there. You don’t like the guy, cool, got it, but coming up with lie, lie, lie, or great exaggerations, is lame.
