Every poll shows Lightfoot running away with this thing, and the Slum Times is going all in on making Prickwrinkle look bad:
- Mayoral candidate Toni Preckwinkle owns a Hyde Park condominium where Chicago police have repeatedly responded to domestic-disturbance calls involving her 37-year-old son — and some residents say she doesn’t seem to have done anything to address their concerns.
Chicago police officers visited the condo in the 5100 block of South Cornell eight times since January 2018, and one resident sought an anti-stalking order against Preckwinkle’s son, Kyle Preckwinkle, according to police and court records. Police didn’t make any arrests.
And Prickwrinkle and her people aren't shy about going negative lately, which is a definite sign that they're feeling the heat:
- Lori Lightfoot jokingly refers to herself as a “triple-threat” because she is an African-American woman vying to become Chicago’s first openly-gay mayor.
Now, her sexuality is the subject of a dishonest and deceptive flyer distributed to parishioners at black churches on the South Side and elsewhere.
This is turning out to be one of the more entertaining elections in recent memory. Too bad it's likely to accelerate Chicago's death spiral no matter who wins.

This has been an ever increasingly common to most condition since the emergence of the thoroughly stupid generations reaching voting age, from more than a half century ago. For the math challenged, circa 1970 or so began this devolution.
The beginning of the decline in the clout principle of running city and county, said principle devolving into dog eat dog eat dog eat dog eat dog, groups constantly screwing every pooch and each other's pooch, as if that is sustainable government, was harolded by the passing of Richard J., who kept the circus clowns relatively on leash.
This ending of the restraining of the clowns only made it easier for the grifting grafters to plunder.
Now, we have the only election form we can handle, the binary choice. Not the political party binary of the past but, now, the binary of shit or shittier. Or so we must think, since we are, after half a century of being crapped on, unaccustomed to thinking otherwise.
Though this default binary sans party affiliation was richie the mutts fredo solution to being a fredo, it is what we have all become accustomed to. Not that we can do diddly squat to change it.
So, savor the binary, the either shit or shittier, for it does have the benefit of clarity, despite wishing we weren't so infested with multiple tribal dog eat dog reat dog eat dog eat dog politics.
And appreciate the theory, as practiced hereabouts, of enjoying fulfilling the lowest expectations possible to achieve.

Taxwinkle should be exposed because she is a dirty POS as well as the son. Since 2012 he has committed criminal acts and has not been held accountable for his actions. In 2012 he battered a homeless guy and was arrested, but The judge in the case Judge Brewer tossed the case out as Taxwinkle sat in the courtroom looking on. The judge in the case has his check signed by Taxwinkle. He is also a friend and listed campaign donor. An order of protection was filed by a resident of the Condo building that Taxwinkle owns and the son lives. The resident claimed the son verbally assaulted him. During a court hearing where Taxwinkle sat again front and center in the court visible to the Judge, the order was not extended by the Judge. And once again this judges paycheck is signed by Taxwinkle and she is also listed as a donor to Taxwinkle’s campaign. Numerous complaints have been filed against text winkle adult son with the condo association from harassment, assault to noise and all complaints have gone on answered. We’ve learned that the president of the condo association has a very good paying job with the county and she is also listed as a campaign donor to Taxwinkle’s campaign. It seems that this POS mom/dad blocks every attempt to hold her POS son accountable by using her political position. That’s the Chicago Machine. Wow!!

It is disappointing to see her break her promises before she is even elected.
First of all, I don't trust that Preckwinkle won't still try to steal the election through fraud.
Lori Lightfoot is the ONLY choice here. She may not be perfect, but Preckwinkle is 100% imperfect. Unlike Preckwinkle, Lightfoot is not a racist and is not a police hater - Preckwinkle is both of those things. Lightfoot was a prosecutor who put violent criminals in prison - Preckwinkle would love to open the doors to every prison and let the criminals out to take revenge on the society she believes is so racist.
Lastly, Lori needs to TROUNCE Preckwinkle. That will clearly demonstrate the Preckwinkle has no influence left with which to prop up morons like Kim Foxx. Once Preckwinkle is vanquished, Foxx won't be far behind.

So very true...settle old grudges, especially with CPD. She definitely hates the police. And remember, she only took defended Powers in that bar case (with the suburban coked up board of trade drunks). Her law firm was assigned to take that case pro bono. Lightfoot jumped on that case because it was an easy win. She has been plotting her political career for many years, and she knew representing Powers was newsworthy and a winnable case that would put her name in the papers. So don't think for a minute that she defended a cop honorably.

There’s no reason too. Nearly 100% of police officers are supporting Lightfoot. They don’t need FOPs guidance. It’s a no brainer. Its Lightfoot. She’s not part of the Career Chicago political machine, seems very intelligent and won’t drive as many residents out of the city as Taxwinkle will. Lightfoot also supports our earned and contributed too pension fund.
You know who else is looking bad is Kwami Roual. Illinois Supreme Court in a 6-2 decision rejected Kwami's submission for review of the sentencing of JVD. NO opinion was delivered.
Interesting note to this. CH 32 had Lightfoot for a brief segment commenting on the decision saying sharply the feds should review the whole matter. Welcome aboard "sweetheart" you're gonna love being in charge, especially this summer. Just think it'll be you, the 50 Alder-thieves, Eddy and his Top Command Staff and of course, the Consent Decree folks. With that power line up what could possibly go wrong.

P. pulls TV ad's for the next 2 days, prompting speculation she's out of money. Let's face it, P. is the candidate from the West and South side Black political machine. Probably, what put her in County was the additional support from the Black suburban political machines. L. is the "Whitest" of the two. L. is going to get some West and South side votes, and all of the North side liberatzi. So down the road, look for absolutely no love between Mayor L. and P. . I think the future will become downright vicious between L. and the city council supporters of P.. Sparks, and hair extensions, (if they wore them) are going to fly in the next year!

I can’t say I was totally shocked by that Lightfoot comment but I was very much dismayed and disgusted.
The whole JVD railroad job has been completed. Let it go.
While I still think Lightfoot is the lesser of the two evils these will be very difficult, troubling times for CPD under either of these police haters.
