This is one of the best take-downs of Crimesha's disastrous tenure in office:
- The Cook County state’s attorney’s office is a mess. In fact, it is the very mess that voters might have anticipated in 2016 when then-candidate Kim Foxx’s credentials and ethics were challenged.
During the campaign, she inflated her felony trial experience and sidestepped questions about her once-lapsed law license. And since taking office she has not cited conflicts of interest in large personal injury cases brought against the county by the same law firm that paid her consulting fees and whose partners contributed tens of thousands of dollars to her campaign.
Up to now, the issue of her credentials has been largely dismissed in the face of her rising celebrity. Today, however, it is clear that a discussion of Foxx’s qualifications was important. Her inexperience, poor judgment and misaligned sense of ethics — not her race — have led to the state of mistrust we endure today.
The core problem is that the state’s attorney’s office is being managed — or mismanaged — by a politician who touts reform but lacks the competence and professional legal judgment to manage a highly complex prosecutor’s office. More alarming, it appears she is unable to balance the scales of justice to ensure that the system serves the community at large.

That is probably what is driving part of the media's anti-Toni/Crimesha narratives of late. The media chose a side, not unlike what they did at the national level, and lost sight of what made them valuable to the voters/consumers. The dead-tree media is shriveling up and the electronic media is so beholden to corporate interests, they've forgotten how to actually investigate incompetence on the part of politicians, directly affecting the Rise of the Blogs (witness CWB for starters). And the Burke indictment (along with numerous aldercreatures), coming so close to an election, really brought the simmering voter disgust with the process to a boil.

In my opinion many individuals in the media, both nationally and locally, have been compromised by the previous administration in the White House. It’s still hard for me to believe that Kim Fixx is the head prosecutor for one of the largest countys in America. She is everything that’s wrong with Chicago and is not trustworthy. The Local Media will not stand against a Politician or even a Criminal, when the issue of Race comes into play. Despite the fact that Chicago is not majority Black, when it comes to reporting the news, local Media will go out of its way to avoid mentioning Race. Yet the avoidance of mentioning the Race of a suspect, especially if the suspect is still at large creates a dangerous situation in that it denies the Public the opportunity to identify potential threat. It is also extremely condescending to imply or believe that a population as diverse and sophisticated as Chicago, would believe that everyone of a named group or Race, are All Bad! One local newscaster of Color who has input into the production of his newscast, on ABC Chicago, has stated that he will not allow the Race of a suspect to be named. The outcome of all of the above is that local media is actually fearful of identifying bad conduct by Black "mobs of youths", criminals and politicians. However, there is never a reluctance to claim Racism, when the accused is White. The Van Dyke case was reported and implied that the officer's actions were based on Race; but NEVER PROVEN to have been the case. Yet, numerous victims, in what are clearly Hate Crimes are marginalized, because the offender was Black. The Jussie "Smellit" case has generated International Attention, and it was a total fraud by Foxx and a Hoax by Smellit. Yet, literally millions of people wanted to blame Racist White Trump Supporters! Meanwhile, in Chicago a Real Hate Crime and Murder took place, when a Hispanic off duty Chicago Police Officer was hunted and Murdered, because of his Race. But most of the cops, friends of cops, wannabe cops, cop haters and just plain residents of Cook County; who read this blog, cannot even remember that dead cop's name!But we all know the name of the Fake Victim! Investigation gets slow-walked. According to news reports nearly 100 people testified before a grand jury and US Atty never charges anyone with anything. Media allows narrative that Alvarez tried to hide Laquan incident to be peddled by Foxx when it was US Atty dragging its feet. Media never asks Fardon or Perry what became of investigation. Incompetent Kim gets elected. Magically and by pure coincidence, April Perry becomes the Chief Deputy State’s Attorney under Foxx. Yes, the very same April Perry at the center of Smollett. Now if only someone was smart enough to put it all together...
Saw the Sunday tribune yesterday, it was about 60 total pages, they tried to sell papers to people who don’t buy papers by ripping people who did buy them, all by telling lies, this is how someone like Trump got elected. Fake news created newspapers 1/8th their past sizes.

The bigger problem is people that watch this fantasy show believe it is true,hollywood is based on lies and deception in order to sell videos,and this show yes I watched the 2 hours of it hoping it would get better and with a different narrative but nope,it shows cover-ups and so much more,but this is how we are portrayed in the media. The editorial claims that the mess in the State’s Attorney Office is due to Ms. Foxx’s incompetence. I would submit that, while she may be incompetent, what she is doing is absolutely INTENTIONAL.
She is refusing to charge “people of color”, regardless of the evidence, because she believes that this will, in some way, make up for the racism their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents suffered. The fact that this is idiotic does not make it less intentional.
Remember that when politicians or “the media” make sweeping (and baseless) accusations of racism, sexism, homophobia or islamophobia, it is largely projection - they accuse others of thinking the way they, themselves, think. Ms. Foxx is absolutely a racist, which is why she sees racism in everything and everyone.

The part of the op ed piece that had the Community wanting law and order stuck in my craw. I have yet to find a diverse 'community' that prefers impartial law to tribal affiliations. Not sure what you are saying here! But I believe Trump got elected because middle-America (read: the hard working people who actually create the GDP of America) were sick and tired of lying Democrats like Hillary and decided to take America back from the socialists. When are they gonna pull the plug on RBG?
