Well, sad to inform you, this is not possible under ordinary circumstances, doubly so now tithe the pandemic. A Secret clearance is just some minor paperwork and fingerprints. A Higher level of clearance, top Secret which has various levels, requires at the least, paperwork, multiple interviews, fingerprints, school and employment records, and takes a long time because of the backlog, possibly years. So it is not going to happen. I think the FBI have better things to do then routine background checks.

I didn't go to last years 025th district Christmas party. You couldn't have paid me to go. Even though he was demoted, Escamerit showed up in some sort of misguided attempt to show pride. You can sue the city for anything, regardless of a corrupt police board's findings. Winning on the other hand is a different matter. Escamerit was never charged with violating a rule 14. Just abuse of department resources, even after the IG said he was lieing about a test study.
That's like a bank robber being caught on camera threatening a teller with a gun, saying he will blow her head off if he doesnt get the money, then leaves with a bag of cash. Then after getting caught he says he needed the money for his sick mom, and only gets charged with aggravated assault and not armed robbery.
Doesnt matter because he shouldn't be on the job anymore and that's not an opinion, that's a fact. I'll say it before and I'll say it again, any person that he contacts regarding any infractions he observes, should ignore whatever he says and ask him how he didn't get hit with a rule 14 violation and who his clout is? What's he going to do then? Write you up for insubordination?

He apparently his heavy, otherwise he would not be an exempt, so he will not be bounced from being an exempt and he is not going to voluntarily step away from being an exempt. In that case, prepare him by sending him to Commander School somewhere, then send him to 004. He would at least earn his pay because he would be quite a bit busier than doing absolutely nothing at OEMC.
