The FOP should stand their ground, denounce the other two unions as separate entities. We don't have to give in because the other two unions didn't give a $h!t. As long as we stay STRONG and UNITED, we don't have to cave in. It will be hard for the youngen's to say no, but we have to stand united for each other.
Answer calls, do paper when needed, no arrest unless signed complaints. STOP CHASING, both on foot or in a vehicle, unless you don't give a rat's a$$ about your job. Larri is going to throw you under a bus. Most officers with 10 or more years NOW understand this. But there's always gonna be the older guy out there telling them to chase that guy, get that gun, be a hero!

Eric Carter should be fired for giving a small group of connected officers unlimited overtime at Swat to answer phones on first watch. He literally had no one assigned to first watch so there was always spots for numerous officers to sit and do nothing for a full tour making time and a half every night. It was the epitome of fiscal mismanagement and should have resulted in several terminations. Carter needs to do the right thing and take responsibility.

He literally had no one assigned to first watch so there was always spots for numerous officers to sit and do nothing for a full tour making time and a half every night. It was the epitome of fiscal mismanagement and should have resulted in several terminations. Carter needs to do the right thing and take responsibility.

I can see a lawyer picking this apart at a deposition. So, you have non police personnel conducting a police function ? My client was killed on the 6900 block of south Emerald. My client was assigned to do his job on the north side. So, if you didn’t put him in harms way and take him from his functions as a city employee assigned to streets and sanitation on the north side he would never have been shot. Isn’t that correct ? I could go on and on and on. This city has by far the dumbest people running it’s day to day functions. Groot is by far the leader of this parade of idiots.

Yes, I guess that this is mostly accurate, depending on who the mayor is at the time and how much freedom they want to give the superintendent. I had one superintendent, who I knew pretty well, tell me when he was having a few drinks , that he was only allowed to make two picks, his driver and his executive assistant. Everything else came from city hall. I could only wish that a retired superintendent would write an expose on the inner workings of the police department. Hillard could have done this and it would be fantastic, but he chose to keep his mouth shut and make millions on the security contracts

My partner completed law school 4 years ago but still pushes the beat car with me, why? Cause he does not have clout to get into the legal department. Many talented officers with no clout, are sitting and wasting away happily. The CPD has wasted so much talent.
