Northside Manpower
We have been provided with copies of the daily worksheets from a number of north side Districts showing exactly what we were talking about the other day. These show dangerously low manpower numbers with 016 leading the way with thirteen total cops covering the entire District for afternoons and even less on days. Those sheets show officers names and star numbers though.

That shows two sergeants and five cars covering the entirety of the 017 District on midnights. If you can, send more shots like these where we can use them immediately. Especially south siders - we would like to show the shortages citywide.

There's an order out. They are pulling 2-3 cars and a Sgt out of every district each watch to cover downtown. This includes some wagons.
How many sworn personnel are working their tour in the building, regardless of what the A&A sheets show them doing.
You should see the sheets for 3rd watch in 012, one of the biggest districts in the city with a lot of gang conflicts and violence, especially during the weekend. For Friday August 21st we have (3) beats cars down, (5) 10-99 beat cars, zero wagons, and zero tact teams because they are being sent downtown along with (6) beat officers. It’s a disaster waiting to happen. Why? Because Groot is trying to cover her a$$ from downtown going up for grabs again, but yet not she’s leaving every district in the city vulnerable and under-served and uncovered. It’s a complete joke!! Officers need to stand down and let the inevitable happen.

Im sure all the "Front Office" people will be in the district as usual, stapling, pretending to do paper work in the office just to avoid being the police and from working downtown. I'm writing down and keeping track of what our infamous front office crew is doing in these overtime days in 019!! Useless bunch of hacks they are. Then the Commander brings in another ass licking Sgt. from the academy to be the front office Sgt...can you believe that shit?? Talk about a do nothing job, except bbsit people upstairs. as a retired old guy, this post makes me laugh. Some things never seem to change. I can go back decades and female officers always filled the district and HQ desk assignments, always. Leroy Martin even had a contingent of women officers who would all wear red dresses and be used at his exempt parties to serve drinks and escort the gold stars to their tables.

So if this statute does exist? Why not use it to ban these asshole from marching anywhere but at Grant Park, Oz park etc. Issue a permit. Any “Protests” not abiding by the rules result in mass arrests.

016th dist no longer has a wagon. It's downtown all day and all night. There were 6 people in a roll call recently, for the biggest district in the city, 6 people in roll call...all 99 units on midnights. Time to step up aldermen.

I also believe that some states that were considered to be solidly blue, and thought to be unwinnable by any Republican Presidential candidate, are going to have epic reversals and flipped to red. In 006 there are 3 details everyday 2 Walgreens locations, and 1 83 & holland Walmart. This does not include the 3 cars that have to go downtown. Last I checked Walgreens and Walmart both are Billion dollar companies that could pay for private security. The other night 6 people shot in a matter of an hour 3 separate crime scenes. Macys just announced moving out of Watertower Place, EIGHT FLOORS of Macys GONE!
JC Penneys is broke and shutting down. May not affect Downtown, but the malls are screwed when Anchors leave.
Ditto Neiman Marcus and a slew of lesser players like Ann Taylor.
Bankrupt and going out of business for good. Gone, Empty Storefronts.
Where will they go? Move to the suburbs outside Crooked County.
Middle and Upper Class shoppers will make the drive.
Lower Income shoppers may not be able to do it.

You should remodel the Red Line.
Everyone gets off the trains at a stop a quarter mile before downtown. They all go through magnetometers and TSA style screening and then are allowed to board a new train going downtown. Waive the requirement from 6 am to 10 am Monday to Friday.

They should send cook county sheriff's police to patrol the north side. 4 cars per district to 016,017,018,019,020, and 024.
