Her refusal to "elaborate on the specific threats" stinks of Ed Burke's routine of claiming he was threatened as the head of the Finance Committee and therefore needed a security detail, a city car and CPD single-digit call sign. When this was in the process of being removed, he manufactured a threat from some senile old man so he could keep his detail.

Pilsen Alliance sends kids to protest outside of CPS Board VP to demand an end to SROs. But they don’t stop there. They want to abolish all police. This organization was formerly led by Alderman Byron Sigcho Lopez of the 25th Ward. He has made several appearances with them this week.
Earlier this week, Alderman Sigcho Lopez was crying about CPD and Lightfoot doxxing a “protester” who is a resident of his ward. That resident was the one who stole the body camera.
Interesting to see the maneuvering by the left. This is the same alderman who “doxxed” Lightfoot’s home by leading protestors there back in April. His fingerprints also appear to be all over this one as well. Since taking office, Pilsen Alliance has had the biggest seat at the table and have been making the alderman’s decisions.
The problem is, they are a not for profit corporation and are not to be involved in political causes as well.
You would think that the alderman and his arms length not for profit would be a little smarter about how they go about things.
But they haven’t. None of these groups have been. ATF, FBI and Homeland are all reported to be inside of these groups. Wire fraud, extortion, inciting violence. All on the board. The Democratic Socialists, certain aldermen, CTU and many local groups better lawyer up to minimize their sentences.

You are completely right, it just shows how far down the media and society has come. It's hard to even believe how upside down things have become. Actually, they did sign up for it. You would not be the first person to have the strength of their relationship tested by your commitment to public service. I would take a guess that most spouses of public servants don't realize the sacrifices they will endure in support of their significant others career. Sadly, many find they can't endure the sacrifice and the relationship ends. In some cases, the public servant chooses their spouse over their career and move on to a more agreeable career.
The choice seems to be your Mx. Mayor, your family or your career.
