SCC you are onto something here.Any Alderman that is in favor of Defunding the Police should have the Police District building in their ward closed down and should be patrolled by the new citywide Police Safety Unit and CAPS Officers.As a matter of fact it should be on the ballot as a referendum for every ward in the city.You should be able to vote to have the Police building and regular Patrol Officers removed from your particular ward.

They are pushing for CPAC, “Civilian Police Accountability Council” that will control you the police. Just one of their goals is they will negotiate your CPD union contract.
If you go to the Chicago Alliance Against Racist And Political Repression website you will notice that the Alderman and 18 other Aldermen support CPAC. The website also lists many other far left radical groups.

And where are all the uprisings occurring? They are embedded deeper than people thought. We are in the middle of a revolution. Do what Naps suggested. It you want the police defunded or abolished in you ward. Speak up in City Council and go on record you want them reduced or removed from your ward and have the department reassign them to other wards within that district or to completely other districts that want the police in their wards, neighborhoods, lives, etc... It's good to see at least some are performing the due diligence and tracing these "organizations" back to their foundation, which is communism. Yes, our government has been infiltrated on all levels. What we are witnessing is the attempt to move the United States from a Constitutional Republic to first a socialist state and then into full blown communism.
I was having a conversation with a 35th street lower level white shirt recently, and this boss was completely oblivious to who were the organizers and the corresponding ideology behind black lives matter. Take a few minutes and read the article and inform yourself who the enemy is and what they are trying to accomplish.

Over $130 million dollars donated to BLM then to Thousand Currents has been funneled to Joe Biden and the DNC. Part of the problem is that a good many of the new Latino alderman, and a few of those in the past (hello Louie Gutierrez, Garcia, et. al.,) have have been steeped in socialism, stemming from their ancestral homelands, the people in their social, religious and political circles; those they were educated by and overall influenced by—even if they were born here. They truly believe that this nation should be transformed into a socialist or communist government. Which, as anyone with even a casual knowledge of these systems knows, they don’t work—never have, never will. So, one can only conclude that they (the aldermen) are woefully inept since they embrace the creation of a utopia where all are equal, no rich or poor, no winners or losers, no good or bad, and the source of everyone’s existence is the altruistic government that holds all power and control over everyone’s life. They are a real and present threat to the well-being of the city.

I have lived in the 35th ward for over 20 years. This alderman lives two blocks away and still has a Bernie sign in his window. I didn’t vote for him and never would. He doesn’t care about his constituents or what they want and has his own agenda. NEVER would I want to defund the police or have a police presence. Just biding my time until I can move out of state in a couple years.
