Sun Times finally telling people that Groot is stripping the taxpaying neighborhoods of police:
The Chicago Police Department’s Community Safety Team — a new unit aimed at forging stronger community ties on the South and West Sides — is growing.
Another 200 officers will soon join the 450 already assigned to the team, which was created earlier this year as part of Supt. David Brown’s reorganization of the CPD.
650 cops? The Department seems to be rapidly approaching the point that Rahm was at when he disbanded MSF and TRU - two street units - and then claimed he put 1,000 cops back on the street.
Remember where those cops went? 003, 005, 006, 007....shorthanded southside spots.

Though dozens of people are shot in Chicago every weekend, a news release from Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s office said murders in Chicago have decreased by 44% since the teams were created. what in the actual fuck are they talking about?!? Seems like the Slum Times never puts out anything that is true and neither does Lightweight's office.
You can this unit 1000 officers, all youre gonna get is 5 TSS card from each of them. They're not dumb enough to do anything more than TSS cards. They might at well be on the watch answering calls.

This team is as big of a joke as you can get. They’ll all be assigned fixed posts downtown to alleviate all the daily tact units being sent down there. They will have nothing to do with making arrest or deterring crime. They’ll be on the radio screaming bloody murder for an ambulance because a sidewalk inspector is laying in the ground around the corner from them . They be calling 10-1’s and giving a disregard 20seconds later , then coding it 19p in no time.
So my family and I should expect a percentage increase in the likelihood of either, getting assaulted, robbed, murdered or carjacked when outside of the house and/or assaulted, burglarized, or murdered while in the house. Carry a gun and extra mag when out of the house and when at home have our little friends accessible on every floor of the house. Oh, and be sure to have 911 on speed dial to report a clean in aisle......
In a year or two when the statistics come out it will show more black people are stopped, and/or arrested by the police. The activists, the community, the news media the civil rights organizations will all scream systemic racism in the Chicago Police Department. But they will never tell you that there were no police left in predominantly white neighborhoods to stop anyone.
Who cares? These kids, who brag about coming from gangs, keep coming into 007 bragging about 10 blue cards and they get to go home. Let.them work. Even that ginger sgt was trying to recruit some folk, not from 007 with those promises. Keep getting those guns, the department needs you.

Recently the department took 90 officers from patrol districts and units for a "90-day detail" to this Community Safety Team.
Look to this to be the new norm---the department getting around contractual obligations by assigning the lowest seniority personnel to a unit with no contractual rights.
It's a good time to read your contract to see how long after your detail that you can be detailed again.
If you are new to the job, getting ready for changes to your schedule.

BINGO! It's a legal setup. Barz will go down in the annals of CPD history as the man who screwed an entire department. Barz will be the fall guy & Brownie will be on a one way flight back to Dallas TX leaving behind tons of legal battles. 4 TSS cards times X amount of officers in said Unit assigned to predominantly Black, Brown neighborhoods. 4 TSS cards Quota by Barz. ACLU is licking their chops. Officers might want to think twice about 4 TSS cards and go hme early.
When it is statistically proven that the members of the Mayor BugEyes community simply move to less protected neighborhoods to create mayhem, what then?
Could it possibly be that black people commit crimes and other offenses at an exponentially higher rate than their percentage of population? Asking for a friend.
Well now that the districts have no manpower it’s all day backlogs. I just go from job to job giving every caller a report this documents the increase in crime under this administration. Why kill crime for them with a code just write a report and show mor officers are needed.
I believe this is just da mayor’s idea to open up economic opportunity to the distressed neighborhoods denizens and bringing the reality of ghetto life to those neighborhoods that have been stripped of da Police.
So if they write 5 blue cards in a day and take 0 jobs they can go home early? Sign me up, this beat car and the non stop domestics is getting old.

Pick up the endless cycle of discarded community garbage, then shoo-away the street corner malingering feral.
Commurnity Clean Up Crews (CUC’s) with guns (until they take them away) because Hashed Brown says a ‘clean community is a safe community’. It makes folks feel good to see other people cleaning up after them.
Why isn’t Streets and San doing their jobs...12 hours a day, rotating a 7 day week besides showing up a day or two later to haul away the plastic bags CPD filled?
Then I wonder which CAPS desk jockey gets to drive around looking for cleanup sites that the 450 street cleaners will have to tidy up. I say 450 because you know the Unit will need an excess of house staff including CO, Lts, Sgts and housed mice as part of the total of 650.
Stay Fetal, work smart show up early twice a period.
And keep bringing in those arrests!

You wouldn’t be there long....these tools are still out chasing for traffic and arresting people for weed. 7625 team have about 7 years total on the job. KM has been involved in 3 wrecks since may, and she had 3 in a 3 month span while in 003. It pays to be your brass’ pin cushion
What exactly do they do ? I see them in their office downstairs in 011.

The typewriter repair section just went to 12 hour days and RDO’s cancelled.cant wait to retire from this dark dank basement. 41 years, I am done dealing with these peckers.

I am a firm believer we all get better the more experience we have. Give them a play they have like 3 years on.
Same Southside Neighborhoods need more Police and City Services
Just put the National Guard in those Neighborhoods
The Crime will Stop. The Kids might attend School
The Residents might apply for Jobs--Not more State Aid

This unit is a fucking joke, it's just a blue card unit. Like the most sensible person working right now is going to stop 100 cars and write all blue cards in a day. Na... Fuck off, till you tell us we are squashing this crap once and for all get the fuck out of our face with that rah rah speech of we do good in the unit but don't forgot to bring in (blah blah blah). Na fuck off, can't wait to leave this shit bag unit, bring back the gun/gang/etc teams, stop making "presence" and the "soft" cuddly police department crap up Brown. Thats why there is high rise of crime and soring amount of shootings and deaths. Encourage protests, and let them riot, you will see there is no fear in criminals to keep doing what they do. There's nothing written anywhere on how many can be detailed at once.
Every 90 days a new group of officers will be detailed to "Community Safety."
It will soon grow to 500 officers every 90 days. After you do a detail, you can't get detailed for another 180 days (or something like that).
Just watch. It could be coming soon.
Nothings going to change until you change the mindset of the citizens
