What about them pulling people from the patrol k9 test list and sending them for training to be bomb dog handlers? Even tho these people didn’t test for and/or rank on the bomb dog list? Hello fop what are you gonna do about this?? Total bullshit if they let it happen. How can you get promoted to a spot you didn’t test for? Inquiring minds wanna know.
So if they all studied together and all failed the same portion of the test that would indicate either a) they are all equal morons, or b) they had a moron instructing them, or c) they were using the wrong actual test they had glommed onto to study from, or d) All of the above.

There are many white shirts that didn’t take part 2 of their promotional tests. They didn’t even bother to show up..... merit, that’s how!
While I'll take great pleasure in this if it is true, were Ward and Fender subject matter experts? I thought that was the issue with the Lt study group. That the people running it were SMEs, not just that they were conducting a study group.

And another tragedy to the dept ... the rumor is jimmy Sanchez is retiring in 2 weeks and coming back to run gangs as a civilian Director. I have worked for this guy . He is one of the dumbest individuals I have ever worked for . Jimmy should had been fired or in jail from some of his actions . This man has been promoted to Commander , but never passed a promotion test to get promoted by rank number . He has been pushed up the ranks because of his “ friends” . When does this stop ??? Mayor ??? Where is the transparency ? Check his record .... why do you think he was never hired at Metra ... Jimmy , you are a disgrace to the hard working officers who study and get promoted from score. You sir believe you are owed something in life . I can’t wait to retire from this job and never see these types of atrocities again . To the commenter about K-9 bomb dogs. FOP did their job to get them into training. Big surprise, the department made a mistake and told them they can’t be bomb handlers when they applied. FOP righted that wrong and they are in. Maybe next time call the union and ask instead of posting garbage on the blog.
