People seem to forget that Heydrich was head of Interpol. Without the Red attempts at civil war it is doubtful that the police would have become politicized, nor would the Party have gained power. Whenever communist insurrections lack the support of the working classes they have a tendency to bring about the exact politics they opposed. I'd say that with all this BLM insurgency, the country is more likely to swing right than before. The Covid crap could have put Law Enforcement in an untenable spot, but BLM has done a helluva job of showing just who the real enemies are. There is a light at the end of the tunnel in all this.

I take their irritation as a good sign. 4) He grew up picking cotton in Louisiana and never even used a telephone till he moved to Chicago (on his own) as a teenager, yet built two big businesses. 5) He can actually relate to many people who did not attend law school and have not spent a lifetime in the sewer of politics. 6) OK, he supports reparations, but this is not part of a coherent political philosophy: he is not a socialist. Socialists are usually people who have never had to work for a living and never built anything, or people ruled by envy, or else phonies who pretend to believe in the ideology, but are really just hustling for a profit. He is a profiteer (businessman), but he is none of those things. 7) He gives away his money. Is it all for show? I can't say, but he's been doing it for many years. This is pretty much who he is. What's our devoted Catholic Senator Durbin doing? Funding Planned Parenthood for another budget cycle?
Yes, of course he's not perfect, but I will take him over Durbin 365 days a year.

The loss of Ginsburg should be interesting. If there is no major police incidents to riot about they will look for this issue to protest. The theme of systemic racism and police brutality has to be put on the back burner and we get a good opportunity to see how civil our Democratic leaders will be as well as their BLM/Antifia foot soldiers.

The NFL is skating on thin ice. The Bears especially, returning tomorrow for their first home came at SOLDIER Field, a stadium dedicated to “the men and women of the armed services.” If the Bears allow members of their organization to kneel during the Star-Spangled Banner, or to raise their fists to the flag, they will not only be insulting the taxpayers who subsidized the stadium and its various renovations. They will also be dishonoring America’s soldiers, and the dead who sacrificed for this country.
If a Bear takes a knee at Soldier Field — something “Papa Bear” Halas would never have tolerated — it is going to be tough for some of us to stick with the team.
Some Bears feel the same way about the flag and the anthem. Coach Ditka has repeatedly said that players who cannot stand for the anthem should find themselves another country. Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher has said much the same.
But there is no reason the players have to protest during the anthem. A team that invented the T-formation can find a solution to this dilemma: a protest space at the stadium, perhaps. Or perhaps running back Tarik Cohen can deliver a speech before the game. He has been one of the more constructive supporters of Black Lives Matter — supporting black businesses, for example, rather than just criticizing police.
The Bears have a chance to save the league and redeem themselves. Can they do it? Don't be fools like the NBA, with the leagues spokesman, LeBron James, says that black people are being hunted. Statements like these get police officers killed. NFL wake up. Your window to redeem itself is past the week one point and closing quick. Be smart and be patriotic and just play the damn game.
