Squad Crash
This sounds like a heck of a wreck and the officer is lucky to walk away:
- A Chicago police squad car crashed through a guardrail and landed on the
outbound Kennedy Expressway on the North Side Tuesday morning, Chicago
police said.
The crash occurred at Foster Avenue at about 4:39 a.m. and the squad car landed on a grassy area just off the expressway, police said.
The officer was transported to a hospital in unknown condition but appeared alert and was talking, sources said.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Get well soon.
Your source is really lying to you.
Work in 016 and it’s a miracle she didn’t get killed, unfortunately with the criminal lack of police protection and manpower shortages we have to respond from one end of a massive district to another. The watches need to stand up in 016 or it’s just going to get worse.
Did somebody fall asleep at the wheel?
