Despite the enormity of the task, it is plausible to believe O'Neill Burke or Fioretti, if elected, could orchestrate the sort of necessary course correction of which the State’s Attorney’s office is in dire need. However, there is every reason to believe Harris will succeed Foxx. A former assistant in Dick Devine’s State’s Attorney’s office, Harris’ resume includes experience serving former Mayor Richard Daley, representing Daley in Springfield and as Counsel with the Chicago Department of Transportation.
Following his service with Chicago, Harris worked in a string of administrative positions with the State of Illinois. Outside of his government service, Harris has twice served as a corporate lobbyist with ride hailing firm, Lyft, and Colorado-based CH2M. Since 2009, Harris has also taught a course on Policing Race in America: Black, White & Blue through the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
Though Mr. Harris has affected a bow tie to give him a professorial image, this is but a makeover to portray him as academically brilliant and determined to administer justice with dispassion. The rebranding of Harris serves one purpose: To disguise his radicalism.
Harris is a known racialist and progressive anti-cop commie, backed to the hilt by Prickwrinkle and the current favorite based solely on the County Machine manufacturing votes.
As we've said in the past, go to the link up top and read it all. And after that, start telling any friends and relatives remaining in Cook County what awaits them should this asshole get in.

Well, at least Crook County and Chiraq are remaining consistent: Whenever they replace someone, it's with someone WORSE than the last one.

Regarding Clayton Harris:
“In 1998, between his second and third year of law school, he interned as a clerk at the state’s attorney’s office, and then became an assistant state’s attorney in 1999. He stayed with the office for less than four years, but during that time worked on criminal appeals, traffic, preliminary hearings and narcotics special prosecutions.
The same reason he left is the one that brings him back, he said: “It was taxing to just see Black men coming through the system constantly. Period. Just Black men.”
“One day I was standing in arraignments at 26th Street, and the defendant was Clayton Harris. I mean, it was just surreal,” he said.
In another incident, a police officer was asked to identify a suspect during trial.
“He never turned, he just says, ‘Yeah, the African American male to my left, standing about 6 feet tall. He’s about 180 pounds. Baldheaded with a goatee.’ And I was like, ‘Well, you just described me.’ And he looked at me and said, ‘Oh, and IDOC jumpsuit,’” Harris recalled. “It just stirred something in me.” “
So let’s recap. He’s running for States Attorney because all the people in court are black like him. Doesn’t say they’re not guilty, just that they’re black. The SA’s job is to prosecute crime, not solve social problems. Anybody who wants to fix the problem of black crime by not prosecuting criminals is just another Crimesha. If you want to fix the problem of all the people you see in court looking like you, run for another office and fix the problem on the front end. Fix the next generation, not let the current one run rampant.
Elsewhere in that article Preckwinkle said they slated him over Eileen O’Neill Burke because she wanted to pick who’s going to be best for black and brown communities.
Please people, tell everybody you know to vote for O’Neill Burke. Then when we get to the general we’ll have her and Fioretti on the ballot and hopefully have a decent choice.

Blacks, Hispanics and others will vote Harris in because they are told to vote for him just like every other election. It appears crime in Murder City has generated little anger and action to dump these perennial dogs from political office. It is a shame, as they hold the power to change things for the better not only for their communities, but for all of Chicago and Crook County.

Fioretti is running as a republican in the primary and will be on a different ballot, he can’t be a spoiler. That’s why I suggest everybody vote democrat in the primary and pick O’Neill-Burke. Then in the general election hopefully our choice will be O’Neill-Burke as the democrat and Fioretti as the Republican.
But as somebody sugested above, the community will vote their color even though they’re getting killed by the unpunished crime. Especially after Tribune article yesterday saying O Neill Burke prosecuted a teenager whose confession was supposedly coerced.
Preckwinkle is backing Jim, it’s a done deal and over before it starts. Fioretti is the perennial shill plant, that they continue to run in different city and county races to siphon votes. Then the Democratic Party pays all his bills for him. It’s been happening for years. He’s a jagoff.

Good to see the Chicago Contrarian is back to full strength. God knows this city needs him. Met him once downtown handing out some flyers that hinted at him maybe being a little, shall we say, unwell.
