Good News
A favorable ruling from a judge in Cook County:
Police attending the upcoming trial of the man charged with killing Chicago Police Officer Ella French can wear their full uniforms in the courtroom, despite concerns from the defense, a judge ruled Friday.
Defense attorneys had asked the judge to bar officers from wearing their uniforms and creating a “a sea of blue” that would intimidate jurors in Emonte Morgan’s trial.
The trial is scheduled for the end of February and anyone in the building ought to stop by when time permits.

Good for the judge. Hopefully the POS ultimately gets a life sentence.
Honor fellow officers.
Feb 20th is the current date for the start of the trial. Fyi.
Show up brothers and sisters...I'll be there in uniform.
.
Why give the defense any chance of winning on appeal after the trial is over?

All murder trials should be televised so everyone in the world can see how the "wheels of justice" grind to a screeching halt in democratic run cities and states...RIP EF

I have my old Bolo still, ...the fella looks like he needs a shampoo....

Maybe it is better not to just in case there are some jurors who hate police but did not admit it?

About forty feet up and near a pile of stones of the right size. In a very public place.
That is the best I can think of, they need much worse.
Why on earth would having police officers in uniform in a courtroom “intimidate” jurors? After all, having hundreds of paid BLM demonstrators causing havoc in the street OUTSIDE the courthouse apparently doesn’t influence anyone. Having those same demonstrators threaten to riot if a particular verdict isn’t reached allegedly doesn’t influence anyone. As a law-abiding citizen I generally feel safer when I see uniformed police officers. They certainly aren’t there to rob or attack me.

Harumph! (Exactly what I was thinking), be there as concerned citizen.
The whore who gave birth to the two shitbags will be there looking for trouble. Don’t so much as look at her. And remember, shake out your clothes before heading home in case her panty crickets get loose.
I wonder if “the hero dispatcher” you all fell for is going to be in attendance making it all about him.
I haven't worn a uniform in 10 years. I'll squeeze into it.
