I know this isn't English class, but your impressive run-on sentence, filled with grammatical errors, and lacking any punctuation, gives a great indication as to why you aren't getting promoted. If you score high enough on the tests, they have to promote you. You don't just get the promotion because you really really want it and stuff. I'm sure you "passed" a lot of tests in your years of schooling also, but for some reason never got straight As like some of the other kids. The world needs ditch diggers too.

I grasp everything posted here pretty well. I fully acknowledged that this site isn't exactly a "disertation." However, that impressive display of stupidity was a clear example of why that person isn't getting promoted. If it's pompous to point out how dumb some moron is, I guess I'm pompous. I think it might just be that you're offended by someone "talkin' all fancy" by simply using proper English. If your education level makes you angry when compared to others, educate yourself instead of lashing out and calling names. I have to admit that the Cardinal is a bit of a liberal jerk, and Fr. Faker is a pain in the ass, but that is no reason to put down the Catholic Church as they do a lot of good in this town,a lot of good. It seems to me that people who put down the church have no real idea of what they do and are not or have not been practicing Catholics for many years. I am involved in their charities so I know how much people of faith do for the down and out of this town.And, don't forget the school system. If it goes away all you have is the CTU.
What the Catholic church specifically does in this town is fully support, encourage, and enable Pfleger. That's why they lose support. They have the school system simply because it's how they make their money. Yes, it's a better and safer schooling option than almost any other, but let's not pretend it's some gift bestowed upon the people by the benevolent church. They could do all of the good things you mention, without supporting and allowing Pfleger to continue his political fakery and blatant race-baiting. They chose repeatedly to do nothing.
