- When a 20-year-old woman was found shot in Jefferson Park early on November 18, Chicago police initially said someone in another car shot her as she rode in a vehicle. After investigating those claims, detectives and prosecutors came to a different conclusion.
This week, they charged 23-year-old Nathan Frazer of Skokie with shooting the woman in the face at point-blank range while riding in a car with three other people. Officials said a friend drove Frazer to the victim’s apartment around 2 a.m. to hang out with her and two other people. Frazer and the victim had met only once before, in July 2022, prosecutors said.
[...] After Frazer unsuccessfully lunged toward the victim, she yelled that he would not do anything to her “because this is a nice white neighborhood,” the proffer said. “Who isn’t going to do anything, b***h?” allegedly Frazer replied, in sum and substance, as he pulled a gun from his waistband and immediately shot her in the face.

What about West Ridge in 024. Just saw an article in Chicago breaking news about all the robberies up there. A college student went on to say how dangerous it is because there’s no security. He said he is thinking about going back to his home country because the neighborhood is so bad.
The victim believed in the "Magic Dirt" theory.

Look at Naperville formally one of the best places to live in this corruption filled state. Hey now, I lived in Jeff Park for years. Bailed out when the Poles found their exits and the Palestinians at the end of the block started buying every house they could, importing more of their freaakin' ululating nomadic savage tribe with every sale.

Jefferson Park has had banger shootings for at least 10 years. Portage Park with its classic octagon brick bungalows has been shit for at least that long. No, crime isn’t everywhere and an exception doesn’t disprove the rule. To that end, Edison Park is still safer than 99.9 areas in the country.

Portage Jefferson and dunning are experiencing what has been priced out of wicker, bucktown Logan and Humboldt. Generational homes/apt buildings sold and now moving further north and bringing their same ghetto lifestyle with them.

Jeff Park was fine til around 10 years ago. Decline really accelerated when Arena/city decided to build massive subsidized housing on Milwaukee and Lawrence/Austin. Jefferson Park, Dunning, Belmont Heights, Portage Park, Gladstone Park have already fallen. Not sure what the neighborhood is called around Irving and Cumberland but that is crap now too. Next to fall is Edgebrook, Norwood Park, Oriole Park, and Edison Park. It’ll probably take 10 years or so but no doubt it’ll happen. If they lift residency it’ll be 3 to 5 years. You won’t be getting 600,000 for your average size house that still needs work. You’ll probably only get 275,000 when all the city workers can live in the suburbs. Fight to keep residency like your families lives depend on it!!! Their lives could actually depend on it depending on how things go this Summer?
I live near Belmont & Narragansett. That intersection right there looks like 79/Colfax now any time of the day.

Many of them even the ones that lived in Garfield Ridge have moved out to Lemont. That area is full of them. They are smart getting out before it is completely destroyed. Anybody that can of European descent is leaving.
