"Restorative" Failure
This is what happens when democrats love criminals more than accountability:
- After prosecutors charged Desmond Johnson with having a pistol in his
waistband during a traffic stop last summer, they made the 20-year-old a
deal. They would divert his case to the Restorative Justice Community
Court and, if he completed the program, they’d drop the felony charge.
Johnson agreed, signing a “repair of harm agreement” on November 6 requiring him to do five things: create a resume and cover letter, get a job, attend a gun education class, complete a 10-week “financial literacy class,” and “create a vision board to show positive thought patterns, goals, and individuality.”
He was also ordered not to possess any guns.
Now 21, Johnson’s restorative justice plan is in jeopardy. Prosecutors have charged him with having a tactical carbine in a backpack as he ran from police on Tuesday, March 5.
This ass gets a "second chance" along with all sorts of conditions for an initial felony...and then disregards it completely because he knows he'll probably never be held accountable.
But hey, register your rifles so that Fata$$ can confiscate them after the next "mass shooting" occurs without any second chances for you.

Anyone with a functional brain knows he didn't go to any financial literacy or gun safety classes. Resume? Cover letter? Surely you jest.

I bet they'll give him another "second chance." It's not his fault. The guns seek him out and the police be harassing him for no reason. What does a resume do for someone with no plan to pursue a career outside of repeated criminal acts? These offenders are aware of the gun laws, but choose to disregard them, and commit violent crimes with illegally obtained and possessed guns. What makes these restorative justice morons believe they'll suddenly adhere to some promise they make to get off the hook for their crimes? If I was dumb enough to commit felonies, you bet your ass I would still be smart enough to promise whatever nonsense they asked of me to get out from under that felony charge. Criminals aren't trustworthy people. They don't follow the rules of society. They certainly don't follow any moral code. Why would they suddenly feel obligated to fulfill some promise made to random people? Everything labeled as "restorative justice" or "police reform" is just a bullshit way to keep black criminals from answering for their crimes. At least a bunch of the ones they let go end up getting killed or killing one of the others set free. I have a restorative justice idea. Lock every violent criminal in a big room together. Give them crayons and have them draw a picture of their hopes and dreams. Then toss a few hundred guns into the room and wait. After about 3 days it should be safe to go collect the drawings. They can be displayed at an art gallery as a restorative justice collage. The blood will just make it more artistic.
I looked at the 5 tasks he was supposed to accomplished and I knew this shitbird was getting an F-.
If you’re looking for ways to reduce crime look no further than what has worked for over a hundred years. Incarceration, Incarceration, Incarceration. If Mr and Mrs Shit knows that if they gets caught with a gun and they’re going to jail for a few years they won’t carry a gun. The same goes for any other crime Mr and Mrs Shit may partake in.
One of the local papers reported on a report on the restorative justice “courts” or whatever they’re called. I don’t remember all the details but the biggest alarming failure they called out is they’re being used inappropriately on crimes where there’s not an individual victim.
I think the way this supposed to work is there has to be a real victim of a crime and the victim has to agree to do it. Then the idea is once the criminal gets to see a real person they’ve fucked over eye to eye and hear how they fucked up their lives it might change them.
Two reasons why this is bullshit for cook country. First, they’re using it inappropriately in cases like this (from description) where the crime is against society in general. The report said they’re using it way too much for that. The second reason it won’t work is the animals we’re seeing nowadays have no conscience, can’t feel guilt, and only see their second chance as a sign of weakness. As many people say hear “you can’t fix that”.
He does not fit the racial demographics, where he would be fully throwing the book of law at. Crime in many blue states. Is totally out of control as we all know, just getting worse by the day, and with what the governor did signing the no cash bail, allowing the criminals to completely control their destiny. This is what happens Jb thought he was going to be a presidential candidate even with all the billions they saw through that as blind as the Democrats are, and as evil as they are, and he has not been chosen, just one look at them, you can see why when he speaks, you can understand why.

The plan of Illinois democrats is to reduce the footprint of real criminals, you know, the ones that account for 96% of all shootings and homicides in Chicago for decades and shift the crime wave to formerly law abiding firearm owners who have owned banned, dangerous rifles for years. Between her and Harris there is no question. She might not be everything you want but she is better than Harris who will be Foxx2 and was chosen by Preckwinkle because in her words “he will be the best for communities of color”.

I will do that. But, what choice do we actually have? I am all for the Restorative Justice Courts as long as they confine these courts to low level property crimes or personal disputes that do not result in serious harm. But, that does not seem to be the case. These courts and " peace circles" seem to be a liberal dream

I’m reading as I sit by the pool in Florida. We legally emigrated from Chicago two months ago and there is still some culture shock. Store clerks are helpful and pleasant, it’s clean and safe, and people in general are nice here. I know it’s not July but no regrets on the move. If you just have a few years to go you will make it - if you have more than 10 I would seriously consider jumping ship - it will help your mental health. Stay safe

Why don’t we just start paying criminals depending on what crime they SAY they are going to do. $1000 for murder, $500 for carjacking, $250 for spousal abuse etc. then they have no reason to commit a crime & they can make some dough not killing, raping etc. I’m so F-ing sick of these bleeding hearts who try to do everything they can to “save” the youngsters. Here is a better idea. 100 years for death, cut off the man part w/o anesthesia for rape. For spousal abuse take an arm NOT the dominant one I don’t want to sound cold. Shooting at police….
