What a Weekend
It was a bloody weekend all around the country it seems:
- At least two bystanders were fatally shot at a Juneteenth celebration in Texas on Saturday night — one of multiple incidents of gun violence around the country that marred Father’s Day weekend.
The article goes on to cite the following:
- Seven people were shot in an [...] incident in Methuen, Massachusetts
- [a shooting] at a Michigan park that injured nine people.
- Two people were killed and two others were injured at a nightclub in Columbus, Ohio, early Friday
- A shooting in Chicago early Monday morning left five people with gunshot wounds
- A man died in a shootout with police in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday night after he barricaded himself inside a home and killed his parents
- six people were shot in Lathrup Village, Michigan
- Five people were wounded Saturday evening in a shooting at Bramble Park in Cincinnati
They missed the other mass shooting here in Chicago's Englehood that accounted for seven more maimed.
Must be something in the air.

The shooting on Pulaski was comical. Hundreds of idiot's taking over a gas station as an outdoor club. The herd fleeing like usual after gunshots are heard.
No mention of the non stop violence by conehead, just the raising of the Juneteenth flag in Daley plaza.

Demographics? Ages? Religious convictions? Gang memberships? What kind of drugs were they on? What was the reason for the shootings?
Because details matter... well, maybe not so much if you're trying to push the "Guns are bad" narrative... Until I get all the details, I ignore this nonsense because what am I going to do? Run around and say "Oh geez, there's a people! Better watch out!"

Hey, I’ve got a legit question. Everyone is celebrating this month. Why can we embrace and celebrate White Heterosexual Month?! Let’s just knock out 2 demographics. It’s not my fault I’m white, it’s how I was born and yet it seems to be shunned here in this stunning metropolis. Also, where would all be without some heterosexuality?! I think we should have a whole month of closed neighborhoods, free backpacks and things. I think this is more than fair, we should embrace it. Who’s in?!

I kinda like that idea of the alderman sleeping in a tent in the 'hood. At least he is doing something to bring attention to the crime in his neighborhood. Even if it is a political stunt. He's doing something.
At one time, shootings in the 'hood were called "gang violence" but the lefties and anti-US Constitution (against 2nd amendment) dirtbags changed it to "gun violence" to suit their agenda and political leanings.
Can we get back to calling it "gang violence" please? Guns don't murder people. Humans murder people and folks. Afterall, when someone is charged with murder, the focus at trial is not the gun, it's the person who pulled the trigger.
Heyjackass shows two homicide icons in 016, but the only one you can find data on is 3900 N. Pittsburgh. The other icon looks like another in Jeff Park near St. Constance. Anybody have info on this?

When Cline was superintendent the homicide rate went down into the 400's. That was done with a lot of street stops and large missions. Progressive groups got their panties in a bunch because too many POC were being stopped. So the city caved and the street stop stopped for all practical purposes. And what happened next? Shooting went up and again the progressives say they had nothing to do with that. Must be root causes. Today a 7 year old pays the price for the progressive war on the police. That said, the community votes democratic reflexively so as someone said "elections have consequences." They own the problems.
Is the violence plan a plan for violence or a plan to stop violence? Asking for a friend.

This job is so much more bearable when I know they are away from this nonsense. I no longer give a fuck and I police accordingly - which is to say not much at all.

How long does it take you to get to work? Or were you smart like old timers rent an apartment with other copper "room mates?" Then again look at the cps indoctrination teachers so many totally violate residency but the owned mayor will never go after them. Thought brandon was against slavery, looks like hes a slave told what to do by his masters at ctu!
OT:Regarding the alderman sleeping outside in a tent. Had some errands to do and took a ride to 73 and Ada. No tent, just a canopy to keep the sun off a table. He was in an air conditioned car and a marked car was within 100ft. Really roughing it......
